 We, the platform, are a nationwide anarchist federation that is active

in various social struggles in order to be involved in building a broad
revolutionary movement. We are already represented in various places in
Germany with local groups in Berlin, Hamburg, Leipzig, the Ruhr area,
Cologne and Trier, but not yet in Freiburg. ---- We want to change that!
That is why we are organizing two events in the autonomous center KaTS
Freiburg, which will take place this month.

As the first event, we want to start with an introduction to our
organization. We will briefly talk about how the platform was founded,
what it stands for and fights for, and how it works. Afterwards, we want
to talk to you about this introduction and discuss it and answer your
questions about us.

At the end, there is still time to think together about whether we can
set up a local group of our federation in Freiburg together.

November 25th: Especifismo & Platformism

One of the questions that causes the most discussion within anarchism,
both historically and currently, is the question of organization. Should
anarchists even come together in larger organizations? And if so, what
should these organizations look like? The known answers range from
anarcho-syndicalist mass unions to cross-current political organizations.

But there are also other exciting organizational approaches besides
these. This lecture presents two approaches from different regions and
eras of the world, platformism and especifismo. Among other things,
their historical origins, their most important characteristics and the
organizations that still relate to these movements today will be
discussed. In addition, we will take a look at the differences and
similarities between the two approaches and answer the question of how
they can be applied in our region today.
