Ater Roma (formerly IACP) has been adopting completely authoritarian
methods in proceedings with particular determination towards some
irregular situations. As far as we are concerned, in fact, encouraging
the regularization of leases and purchases of real estate to
associations, foundations, sections of one's own party and the like
should theoretically not fall within the administrative principles of a
democracy, especially when these spaces make use of people who repeat
symbols and slogans, activate actions, contents and principles belonging
to what was the Fascist Party. A party and a totalitarian ideology at
the service of employers' associations that, despite the fictitious
populist and nationalist propaganda, has already led us into the abyss
of poverty and persecution, war, the cancellation and closure of our
offices and of all the dissenting press.

Are we dealing with administrators or abusers? We had hoped that the
summer break would give us time to return to the ordinary path to arrive
at a congruent and fair recovery plan to which we can have access in
reference to circulars, resolutions and amnesties issued by Ater Roma
itself. The illusion lasted very little because on Monday 30 September,
we are again faced with the request of the police. What do the military
have to do with a completely administrative practice? Isn't it our job
to do other people's accounts? But how much is this repeated and
unjustified request for intervention by the police costing the public
administration?

It is clear that the reason for blocking the process of our
administrative practice is entirely political.

Our group activated the Anarchist Space 19 July in 2011 to give
continuity to a project of a popular library and anarchist archive.

The Anarchist Group C. Cafiero was founded in June 1945 in Garbatella
and generations, groups, collectives, associations, editorial offices of
newspapers and magazines, theater companies and musical groups, artists,
poets have passed through us, a microcosm in the heart of this
neighborhood connected with the self-managed and self-organized cultural
and political experiences in the struggles of the international
anti-authoritarian movement in a concrete perspective of freedom and
solidarity from below in Italy and in other parts of the world.

Our group does not have public funding and relies on free subscriptions
coming from the pockets of workers, precarious workers, unemployed,
students and supporters who have so far also supported the extraordinary
expenses activated by this situation.

Therefore, we invite you to participate in the third solidarity sit-in
with breakfast on Monday, September 30, to all our activities and not to
lose sight of the initiatives that we will activate for the Campaign The
