A new issue of our newsletter 'Colectividad' is now available on our
website. ---- As in other years at this time, the contents of the
publication are related to our Social Forum Colectiviza and the texts it
contains are prepared by those who participate in it. ---- In this issue
you will find, in addition to our editorial and the programming
dedicated to the meeting, a text prepared by the Council of Women of
Mutual Support Aragón in which they express the difficulty that the
comrades have to be militants in the revolutionary organizations and how
the system of oppression under which we live imposes routines on them
that prevent them from effectively developing their time of militancy,
so, as they express:
"it is necessary to rewrite the role that has been imposed on women for
centuries in society; knowing which have been the actors that have
contributed to it, in order to be able to resume another way of living
and coexisting in the natural space, but also in the political one."
The comrades from the Academy of Democratic Modernity who will accompany
us in Angüés on October 19 have written a text about how Democratic
Confederalism is an effective tool to liberate life from our
territories, as it already does in Rojava and in other parts of
Kurdistan and the world, and about the basic foundations on which to
organize the freedom of all:
"In a democratic society, all expressions of identity are possible, as
long as they are based on respect for the existence of other entities
and basic principles such as democratic rights, the historical debt of
the patriarchy to women and the urgent need to liberate women and
restore the balance between living beings and nature."
Finally, comrade Hector leaves us with a reflection on the key role that
Revolutionary Pluralism can play in social transformation and how it can
put an end to years of defeat due to the endemic partiality of the
various existing struggles:
"... the first step for a society to see itself again as a "whole" for
which it is worth fighting, is that the movements and forces that
currently try to act on it and influence it do so from within, feeling
part of that same social fabric and, therefore, considering the rest of
the forces and people as brothers: as an inseparable part of that social
fabric."
