Dear friends,   In West Virginia, authorities recently uncovered twenty dogs on a property in what they described as "deplorable" conditions. The animals were malnourished, lethargic, and suffering — and tragically, three of the dogs did not survive. When deputies arrived, they discovered two dead dogs lying on the property, with one more dying shortly afterwards while in transit to safety. The only visible food source for the starved dogs appeared to be a dead deer carcass that was hanging in a barn. As if the neglect weren't enough, authorities also found an illegally possessed firearm on the property, underscoring these pet owners' broader disregard for laws and safety. Sign this petition to demand that West Virginia authorities permanently bar these individuals from ever owning, living with, or working with animals again.
