The publication of the tenth issue of Panthère Première (PP) is an opportunity for the collective-exclusive of cis men-that has been running this feminist and social critique journal since 2017, to announce the journal's closure and its possible transformation into something else. ---- Each issue comprises around one hundred pages, alternating between written contributions by researchers, literary texts, and illustrations. Outside of the main feature, you'll find, among other things, a history of the Social Security number, a photo novel about Beguines in struggle in La Grande-Motte, a personal reflection on Taylor Swift and her song lyrics, and a study of horror films in a post-MeToo context.
Panthère Première explores, through text and images, the relationship between the "private sphere" and the "public sphere," the intimate and the political, systems of domination and conditions of emancipation. What characterizes PP is the originality of its topics and the quality of its writing.
