The Libertarian Communist Union will participate in the Ecological and Social Encounters on May 22nd and 23rd in Nantes! Come meet us and discuss! ---- This event, co-organized by Attac, Earth Uprisings, La Tête dans le Sable, the FSU, the CGT (Nantes branch), Solidaires (Loire-Atlantique branch), and UCL, will be packed with training sessions, roundtables, and informal gatherings to discuss ecology as a front in the struggle. ---- How can we solidify alliances between environmental movements and unions? Could reducing working hours be a common demand leading to a questioning of productivism? What mandates should we hold in our unions when climate change forces us to work ever more in extreme temperatures? Can the ecological transition be achieved by reclaiming the means of production? In the construction industry, how does concrete shape our working methods, and does working without it also mean working differently?
These are just some of the questions that will be addressed throughout these two days!
