Today marks the first official day of the Trump regime. It’s Inauguration Day for Donald Trump. And the beginning of a long, hard fight to protect the rights of millions of LGBT Americans.
The first big attack we’ll likely be facing is the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA) – a law that will allow any business, organisation, or person across the country to discriminate against LGBT people.
Congress is ready to pass it. Trump promised to sign it into law. And we’re ready to fight back.

Already, over half of all lesbian, gay, and bisexual Americans say they’ve experienced discrimination from a healthcare provider. Under FADA, medical professionals could legally refuse to treat someone if they claim that the patient’s sexual identity goes against their religion.
It won’t take long for FADA to become a reality. We need to be ready to fight back starting right now – Day One of the Trump Regime.
As an international organisation with a fierce team based in the United States, All Out can work with activists both inside and outside of the country to unite a global cry against these impending human rights atrocities.
