The Game Developers Conference in San Francisco (more commonly known as GDC) is one of the
highlights of the game industry calendar. An annual event drawing game developers of all
stripes from around the globe, it is seen as one of the premier places for developers to
network, companies to show off new tech, CEOs to mingle and business deals to be made. Yet
the big discussion animating conference goers at this year's GDC was something very
different. Namely the unionisation of the games industry. ---- Unionisation has always
been a topic floating around the edge of conversation in the games industry, hardly
surprising given the existence of such common practices as mandatory unpaid overtime in
the form of 'crunch', poor job security, low pay relative to similar work in non-games
tech, and exploitative hiring and firing practices, to name just a few of the abuses
rampant throughout game development. Yet until now it has always been something of a taboo
with people either ambivalent about a union's effectiveness or defeatist about the
possibility for change. Yet it seems that, to the surprise and joy of many, this
particular tide is turning.

It was never really meant to be a huge topic of conversation at the GDC. The genesis of
the whole thing was a single roundtable discussion, hosted by the International Game
Developers Association (IGDA) entitled "Union Now? Pros, Cons, and Consequences of
Unionization for Game Devs". The 'consequences' part of that title is the most important
thing to note. The IGDA bills itself as a 'professional association' and 'advocacy group'
for developers in the games industry. It has always avoided the term 'union' like the
plague and a look at its structure makes it clear why. Its top table positions are almost
entirely filled by studio CEOs and other executives, and it recievsi a notable amount of
industry funding. It is fairly clear to those in the know that the IGDA is essentially an
'industrial peacekeeping' organisation, and while it does have some positive programmes,
it essentially exists as a defender of the industrial status quo.

This was made very clear in comments made in multiple interviews given by IGDA director
Jen McLean in the run-up to GDC. In these interviews McLean essentially put out anti-union
arguments dressed up as a caring concern that developers might put too much faith in a
union to solve all their problems and that they may not see the (in her mind considerable)
negative outcomes of unionisation. McLean as a caring figure can be hard to take
seriously, given that she was previously CEO at 38 Studios, whose sudden bankruptcy led to
surprised workers discovering they had been fired via e-mail and multiple legal actions in
the state of Rhode Island. The negative focus and straw-man building present in these
interviews drew the attention of a number of games industry workers in favour of
unionising and, fearful that the roundtable was going to be used as a means of dissuading
developers from considering organising, decided to act. Through private online chats, a
plan of response was formed that eventually became known as 'Game Workers Unite' (GWU).

GWU says that it is itself an ' anonymous and horizontal organization of people dedicated
to advocating for workers' rights and the crafting of a unionized games industry'. The
group was in firm attendence at the GDC, and their badges, stickers and pamphlets ('Tips
on beating all the bosses') were seen all over the venue. The group achieved their aim of
pushing organisation to the very top of the conference agenda and by the time the
roundtable came around, the original 50 planned seats were nowhere near enough for the
nearly 200 people who crowded into the hall. GWU had also spent time prior to GDC getting
in touch with many other unions, especially those in the creative industries such as the
Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Radio and Television Artists (SAG-AFTRA) and
the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE). SAG-AFTRA has certainly
had an effect on talk of organising the game developers; a strike by voice actors in
2016-17 was felt throughout the games industry, and led a lot of developers to wonder why
they couldn't get the same kind of improved working conditions the voice actors were able
to fight for. Steve Kaplan, an organiser from IATSE, was present at the round table
precisely to ensure an experienced union viewpoint was present, saying 'I came here to
say: 'If you're going to have an anti-union discussion you're going to have it with a
union rep in the room.'

According to people present at the roundtable meeting, the event could hardly have gone
much worse for McLean and the IGDA. McLean in her role as moderator tried throughout to
turn the discussion onto the potential negatives of unionisation, but largely failed in
the face of an audience solidly in support of the idea. While the discussion remained
mostly civil, the atmosphere was described as intense, with all in attendance clearly
passionate about the subject and chafing at the attempts at 'moderation'. Despite McLean's
many attempts to lead the discussion, it is clear that she was the lone anti-union voice
in the room. People sharing stories about explotiative and damaging practices they'd
experienced and believed a union could fight against were roundly applauded. When McLean,
seemingly in a last-ditch attempt to swing the debate onto the negatives of unionisation,
asked: is there any problem the audience believed a union couldn't solve, she was met with
a resounding silence. It is clear that the mood was resolutely in favour of organising the
games industry. It is hard to overstate how resonant a simple sentence like that is in a
previously unorganised industry like game development.

Since then, McLean and the IGDA have walked back some of their previous positions, saying
that if IGDA members chose to tried and unionise, they would support it. Even though GWU
says it is not yet a union, rather a group advocating for one, it is clear that their
pressure has already forced the IGDA on to the back foot, having been caught off guard by
the surprising wave in favour of organising. This alone shows the power of a union in a
largely unorganised industry, when even the mere act of talking about unionisation can
cause tremors in the established system.

The organisers of the GWU are more than aware that they are merely taking the first step
on a long road, but it is clear from this year's GDC that momentum has shifted.
Anecdotally, from talking to my fellow game developers about organising, the mood has
definitely changed. Even as recently as five years ago, such a topic would be recieved
with little more than a shrug and a response of 'Yeah it would be cool, but I doubt it
will ever happen'. Today? Almost every single developer I have spoken to is one hundred
percent on board with the idea, without reservations. Organisation in the games industry
has moved from being an impossible dream to an absolute and immediate necessity. Either we
organise now, or they'll use our passion for gaming to keep killing us for profit.

Perhaps the wave has already started. In Paris, workers of Le Syndicat des Travailleurs et
Travailleuses du Jeu Vidéo (STJV) working at Eugen Systems, a strategy game developer have
been on strike for three weeks over unpaid wages and unilateral job restructuring by
management. They are fully organised and have set up a strike fund, yet another thing that
could barely be imagined as happening in the industry until now. As Kaplan himself
observed at the round table, the organisation of the games industry will be a cascading
effect. The first succesful strike, the first studio that removes a negative working
practice at the demand of its workers will be the first domino in the chain. With Games
Workers Unite in America, the STVJ strike in Paris, and a hunger for organisation
worldwide, perhaps that first domino is getting ready to fall.

From 20 to 21 April at the hotel "Neißeblick" in Ostritz (a small Saxon town near the
border with Poland in the village of Krzewina) under the slogan "Reconquista Europa" there
will be a neo-Nazi festival "Schild & Schwert" (Shield and Sword, abbreviated SS) There
are several thousand neo-Nazis from Germany and other European countries, especially
Poland and the Czech Republic. Both the date and location of the event are not accidental
- April 20 is the date of birth of Adolf Hitler. On the other hand, selecting the
organizers from Ostritz was to carry out the entire festival without any major problems or
external interference. Their goal is to cut off the city and fill it with thousands of
neo-Nazis, which will create something like a temporary protection zone for supporters of
national socialism. They assume that a huge number of festival participants will block, or
at least significantly reduce all forms of resistance. If they succeed, the neo-Nazi,
radically right-wing German party NPD intends to return regularly to Ostritz - the
organizer of "Schild & Schwert" Thorsten Heise has already registered another event in
this place, which is to take place in October this year.

In order to mobilize as many people as possible during "Schild & Schwert" not only
concerts of bands from "Blood & Honor" were organized (among others Lunikoff Verschwörung,
Amok, Sons of Odin, C category - neo-Nazi band performing in 2016 at the Orle Gniazdo
festival - and Oidoxie - last year's star of the Polish neo-Nazi festival "Night of
Terror" in Grodziszcz), but also a martial arts tournament called "Ring der Nibelungen",
tattoo convention, publishers' stands and clothing stores (neo-Nazi designs on blouses,
T-shirts) will be sold between other, also popular in Poland, the Ansgar Aryan company)
and hundreds of liters of beer.

Political declarations and speeches in this case only reveal the role of a fig leaf,
thanks to which Shield & Sword is protected by the German constitution. Political speeches
are an indispensable element required for a given event to obtain the status of a
"political assembly", not an ordinary private event. The legal protection afforded to
political assemblies is extensive and brings with it substantial benefits for the
organizers who will increase their financial profits. The festival in Ostritz is therefore
not only an open celebration of Adolf Hitler and his ideology, but also an event in which
the right to assembly is overtly abused to generate funds for (inter-) national neo-Nazi
organizations with the blessing of the German legal system.

The date and location of "Schild & Schwert" clearly indicate one more aspect of this
event: the celebration of the birth of Adolf Hitler just a few kilometers from the borders
of the country, which suffered significantly under the German occupation - Poland. Its
organizers glorify the national-socialist ideology, at the same time trivializing or
displacing all Nazi crimes committed on Poles and other inhabitants of Central and Eastern
Europe. The key is also the fact that Ostritz is located on the border with Lower Silesia,
a region that was justly returned to Poles after 1945, and which the organizers of "Shield
& Sword" to this day describe as being under the "temporary Polish administration". As
noted by Sascha Elser at the initiative of Rechts rockt nicht: "It is obvious that they
want to regain this land". Nevertheless, the Polish neo-Nazis who choose to organize their
own birthday party for the Führer under the banner of the "Identity Night" are also going
to the festival and announce they are officially inviting to Ostritz. They are not even
bothered by the fact that the vocalist of one of the neo-Nazi bands Michael Regener
(Lunikoff Verschwörung) at the Shield & Sword, repeatedly condemned in Germany for
spreading hatred, was famous in this environment with the band "Polacken Tango" years ago.
One can hear in it how Regener states: Sword of "neo-Nazi bands Michael Regener (Lunikoff
Verschwörung), repeatedly condemned in Germany for spreading hatred, years ago, became
famous in this environment with the band" Polacken Tango ". One can hear in it how Regener
states: Sword of "neo-Nazi bands Michael Regener (Lunikoff Verschwörung), repeatedly
condemned in Germany for spreading hatred, years ago, became famous in this environment
with the band" Polacken Tango ". One can hear in it how Regener states:

"Polish rogues scream white power! How I hate this shitty nation. Since when do Poles
belong to the Aryan race? "

As you can see Polish nationalists, this does not bother you at all. What's more, they
plan not only to come to the event, but also to help the Germans in his organization,
provide accommodation on the Polish side, etc. On the official website of the Shield &
Sword festival you can read the news that it is worth coming by train to Krzewina and go
to the festival on foot, and earlier on the Polish side to do cheap shopping.

It is not only Polish neo-Nazis who support the organization "Shield & Sword". The
festival will take place under the watchful eye of the German and Polish police, which has
already cooperated to adequately secure this "political gathering" and prevent riots,
which in practice means that it will protect fascists and ensure that nothing disturbs
their events .

Sascha Elsner, explaining the point of view of the "Rechts rockt nicht" initiative,
remarks: "In our opinion, the Ostritz festival is an opportunity to strengthen the
cooperation of German neo-Nazis and develop their relationships with representatives of
the neo-Nazi scene from Poland and the Czech Republic. In addition, they use the
celebration of the birth of Adolf Hitler to raise funds for their organizations, all under
the watchful eye of the German and Polish police who will protect the event. If in fact
neo-Nazis can gather and celebrate Hitler's birthday without any obstacles, it is a sign
that something is wrong with our law and society. "

We will not passively observe the Nazis from all over Germany and Europe gathering on the
border to celebrate the Führer's birthday. For us, the path of dialogue ends where there
is national socialism, homophobia, anti-Semitism, racism and misogyny. We will support the
residents of Ostritz and we will jointly oppose the neo-Nazis!

On April 21, let's all go to Krzewina and demonstrate against neo-Nazism!

Let's organize ourselves, help ourselves in getting there, let's be there together! Let's
organize a colorful festival of tolerance, respect and solidarity on the border! Together
with our friends from Germany and the Czech Republic, send a clear signal: We are here! We
will not let the Nazis celebrate! We will not let them "conquer" Europe. They will not
even conquer a small Ostritz! They are not welcome and will not enjoy themselves here!

Explanations:

The "Rechts rockt nicht" initiative is a network of organizations and people active in the
Görlitz-Zittau region, as well as in the East German countries of Saxony, Brandenburg and
Berlin.

NPD: National Democratic Party of Germany, extreme right-wing political party in Germany;
after the German national name, Nationaldemokratische Partei Deutschlands.

Nibelungen: the name of the mythological Germanic-Norse royal family. The myths developed
by R. Wagner as an opera constitute the central cultural element of German nationalism.
This opera was also Hitler's favorite art.

Never has such a thing ever happened before in the "Espace Noir" (Black Space) of
Saint-Imier. Last Saturday (3/24), around midnight, at the end of a show, five to six
young men stormed violently into space. Confusion. A fight begins. "They push some
customers. One of them takes a punch in the face, "explains Michel Némitz, coordinator of
the self-managed anarchist cultural center, film space, theater, bar, gallery and
bookstore. After the attack, the "Espace Noir" issued a statement. Read the following.
---- Press release. ---- On Saturday night, March 24, 2018 , the cultural cooperative
"Espace Noir" bar was the victim of an attack by a group of young people. They reached
customers and volunteers, stole the purse of an artist that night was produced in the
theater and a bottle of wine. One of the brutalized people was injured in the face and his
glasses were broken.

These are serious crimes following a series of robberies, vandalism and intimidation
perpetrated by this band that has been operating for some time in Saint-Imier. The
situation is becoming unacceptable. The Espace Noir team dedicates their time and energy
to maintaining a place of culture, conviviality, solidarity and tolerance and sees their
efforts "rewarded" by the unacceptable behavior of some twenty adolescents claiming to be
a "street gang." We ask parents to teach them to behave civilly towards others, that
brutality is despicable and does not lead to respect. We invite the population to show
their support and publicly express their disapproval.

We also believe that this is the consequence of antisocial policies and lack of resources
for schools in particular and for public and community services in general. It seems to us
that our cooperative does its part to provide answers in this context, but we do not have
the vocation to work in an atmosphere of violence.

Despite the success of Philippe Poutou in the presidential election, the crisis of the New
Anti-Capitalist Party continues and worsens. At its IV th Congress, no less than seven
trends are expressed, and none has received an absolute majority. ---- Nearly 200
délégué.es representing about 1300 and adherent members have réuni.es for the IV th
congress of the NPA, the 2.3 and 4 February at the labor exchange in Saint-Denis (93).
Libertarian Alternative and some other organizations were invited to attend some of the
debates. It was a question of drawing up balance sheets, mobilisations against the labor
laws, presidential election, international politics, but also of making construction
choices: which direction for the NPA ? What modalities of action in the struggles ?

It has been six years since the NPA crisis, which began in 2012 when a large part of the
LCR's historical leadership joined the Left Front (and, today, insubordinate France). This
collective departure could have homogenized the party. This was not the case since the NPA
was divided into seven trends at this congress. It is not always easy to understand the
ins and outs, especially as each trend seems more concerned with marking one's territory
than looking for convergences on the merits. None had the majority of votes, not even the
current leadership which, however, already had different sensitivities. No general policy
motion, however minimal, could be adopted.

What was unanimous: Philippe Poutou's presidential campaign in 2017 (in spite of some
criticisms about the control of the door parolat) and the importance of the freedom of
speech around #MeToo and the need to build a movement of women on these bases. This has
exacerbated disagreements: the analysis of the reasons and the extent of social setbacks
in the last two years.

Apples of discord

The critical support of the NPA at the beginning of the Syriza government in Greece has
been sharply attacked. The attitude towards the former Left Front, France's rebelliousness
today, was also much discussed. The question of the NPA's participation in the Social
Front collective revealed a contradiction: if the Congress' preparatory GAs voted for the
majority, the delegates in the session finally voted against.

The majority trend was only a relative majority, with 48% of the vote. But as the six
minority tendencies have refused to coalesce to form an alternative leadership, despite
sometimes close speeches, the previous majority will continue to lead the party, building
compromises on a case-by-case basis with each other.

In this context, Alternative libertaire sent an "  address to the congressists  " exposing
some analyzes: on unionism, on feminism, and on youth movements. Our comrades of the NPA,
alongside whom we find ourselves in the struggles, will have recognized our attachment to
the construction of union organizations of struggle and social movement broad and
self-management.

Dorota Gardias - chairwoman of the Federation of Trade Unions (the third largest trade
union headquarters in Poland) - commenting on the debate on draft new labor codes prepared
by the Codification Commission Labor Law, announced on March 26 on her blogthat "The new
labor code does not exist!". The leader of the FZZ regrets that the discussion on changes
in labor law "got out of hand" and individual solutions (such as new types of temporary
employment contracts) discussed in the media by members and members of the Commission are
presented as "some hard records" project that will definitely come into force. " Dorota
Gardias argues that what KKPP has developed is only "a series of non-binding
recommendations", which are to form the basis for a "real" discussion within the Social
Dialogue Council (a forum for government cooperation and representative organizations of
employers and trade unions at the national level). The text ends with a calming assurance
that "eventually, none of the entries will come into effect."

Surprisingly, the representative of the trade union headquarters, who delegated a
representative to work in the Commission, thinks that the body only worked out
"recommendations" - one glance enough to state that KKPP prepared a complete two draft new
legal acts: what is the result of its work is indistinguishable from the ministerial bill.
And includes all the solutions that have been criticized in the media as anti-worker and
anti-union: easier rules for dismissing, more flexible working time, new types of junk
contracts (including "zero-hour contracts"), raising the representativeness thresholds at
the company level, further limitation the right to strike, etc., etc. Moreover, these
solutions have been prepared not by any accidental group,

It is hard to believe that the effect of the committee's work in such a composition is
only "recommendations" that the government will treat casually. However, the reservation
that new labor codes may change at further stages of the legislative process can be
reported in relation to each legal act until it does not receive the presidential
signature - amendments to draft legal acts may, after all, be submitted both in the Sejm
and in the Senate and the President also has the right to veto or refer the application to
the Constitutional Tribunal to examine the compliance of the legal act with the
Constitution. Following this logic, it is always "too early" to criticize the solutions
contained in the draft laws - regardless of whether they are government, deputies, civil
or "expert" projects. Despite this, social protests against individual projects erupt at
various stages of the legislative process - in the case of laws increasing access to
abortion it was the first or second reading, but there were also protests already at the
moment when the project assumptions were announced by individual ministries. And the
earlier such protests break out, the greater the chance that unfavorable solutions
contained in them will be stopped.

Why, then, does Gardias try to silence criticism of the planned labor law reform and calm
public opinion? Why does not he sound an alarm when the discussion about easier dismissals
begins and the basic employee rights of employees and employees of small businesses begin?
Probably because it has smoothly entered the role that trade unions are designating by
state authorities and capitalists - a "responsible participant of social dialogue", which
is supposed to silence public dissatisfaction, creating the impression that participation
in the Social Dialogue Council alone is enough to stop anti-worker reform. In this way -
consciously or not - the FZZ spreads a protective umbrella over the government, relying on
the grace and disfavor of the authorities and hoping that Law and Justice will care about
maintaining the image of the "social" party. The problem is that, that not necessarily the
current government will be interested in increasing the protection of the world of work.
After the January reconstruction and taking over the portfolio of the Prime Minister by
the banker Mateusz Morawiecki, it is clear that for the ruling party the priority is to
win the favor of a business rather than continue the social course. However, last year's
government's confrontations with employees and employees of education and health care show
that the PiS can show great determination and ruthlessness in carrying out reforms, even
if they raise resistance of trade unions. than to continue the social course. However,
last year's government's confrontations with employees and employees of education and
health care show that the PiS can show great determination and ruthlessness in carrying
out reforms, even if they raise resistance of trade unions. than to continue the social
course. However, last year's government's confrontations with employees and employees of
education and health care show that the PiS can show great determination and ruthlessness
in carrying out reforms, even if they raise resistance of trade unions.

Counting on the grace of power is therefore a great naivety. Just like closing discussions
on how work relations in the Social Dialogue conference halls look. If trade unions really
want to win higher wages, better employment conditions and greater control over work
organization for the world of work, then they must behave contrary to what the head of the
FZZ proposes. Our role is now to initiate the widest possible discussion on what law we
need, how to facilitate workers and workers to create trade unions and how to look in
practice the right to strike. For such a discussion to be fruitful, it can not limit
itself to expert opinions - regardless of whether they are experts and experts of
Solidarity, FZZ, OPZZ, Employee Initiative or Sierpnia 80. It must come from everyday
experiences and problems with which we confront in workplaces and take into account the
voices and experiences of various professional groups. It should also be under pressure
from social protests and strike actions - otherwise business interests and political
elites will prevail over even the best-justified proposals of trade unions.

Our ambition should now not be to revise the Codification Committee's projects, but to
question the whole philosophy that forms the basis of this reform: On the one hand, it
consists in deregulating and eliminating difficulties for employers to make redundancies
and organize work time according to their needs (at the expense of employees and workers).
On the other, forcing trade unions to "social dialogue" and introducing further conditions
that they must meet in order to be able to use such tools as a strike. It is, moreover, a
philosophy that has been the basis of virtually all changes in labor law for the last 30
years - regardless of whether they were ruled by liberals, conservatives or left-wing
post-communists.

In 2013, FZZ together with "Solidarity", OPZZ, Sierpnia 80 and WZZ "Kontra" first
organized a general strike in Silesia (in March), and then - in September - National
Protest Days, in which also the Employee Initiative took part. This was one of the many
factors that led the PO government to fall and then forced a number of changes in the
labor law, for which the current power attributed to itself. It is these experiences that
should be a reference point for us when we think about what to do with the current draft
labor law reform.

THEME: Bases of Kurdish Democratic Confederacy ---- DATE: Saturday, 04/27/2018 ---- TIME:
3PM ---- LOCATION: "Backstage" Room of the Youth Reference Center (CRJ) , Belo Horizonte,
MG) ---- TEXT: For a Social Ecology, by Murray Bookchin ---- LINK: https://goo.gl/f8MfEg
---- PREVIOUS READING OF THE TEXT: Indicated ---- METHODOLOGY: Presentation of the main
points of the text interspersed with debates. * ? Detailed description: Comrades,
comrades! ---- This is our second meeting, which will be at 3:00 in the CRJ's "Behind the
Scenes" room, we will continue to address a topic that has been much debated, read and
sought in recent times: Democratic Confederalism, which is the ideology created by the
Kurdish people, Abdullah Öcalan and the party that is part of the PKK (Kurdistan Workers'
Party).

Democratic Confederalism is the ideology behind the Northern Syrian Revolution that is
being carried out by the PYD (Democratic Union Party), its armed detachments (YPG) and YPJ
(Women's Protection Units) and a large military unit called the Syrian Democratic Forces,
in that country that has suffered a violent civil war since 2011. Democratic Confederalism
foresees the revolutionary struggle for a society based on a system of political,
economic, cultural, ethnic and social organization based on direct basic democracy, on a
political federalism that replaces the nation-state, on an economic self-management that
replaces capitalism, based on the principles of equality of women, ethnicities and
religions. (This text is interesting to understand more:https://goo.gl/dNxJ4K )

In this CFA we are going to address the text For a Social Ecology, by Murray Bookchin, an
American anarchist who was very important for the deep political repositioning of Ochalan
that influenced the elaboration of Democratic Confederalism ever since. Link text:
https://goo.gl/f8MfEg

It is interesting that everyone read the text for the debate, but the methodology will
consist of a presentation of its most important parts, keeping open, of course, the space
for interventions, doubts, notes, the debate in general.

See you at CRJ!

The devastating effects of war crises and the intensity of the plunder of the capitalist
region are the disintegration of every concept of social life and existence in the Middle
East where the war has swept the local populations. It is precisely these results that
have resulted in millions of uprooted and desperate people attempting in any way to flee
and enter Europe. ---- The Greek state, as the southeast border of the European Union,
acts as a kind of tap through which European states regulate refugee and migratory flows
in accordance with the needs of the bosses, but also with wider political considerations.
Depending on political and economic relationships, they either use immigrants as an
inexpensive and easily consumable workforce when they need it or they are trapped inside
the state of entry - the Greek in the vast majority of cases - creating a warehouse of
hundreds of thousands of people living in conditions of absolute impoverishment, are faced
with the repressive state fury and the racist attitude of the fascist and partisan gangs.
Several of them have been stacked for months in concentration camps without actually
committing any particular offense except because they have no legal residence permit in
the country.

The Port of Patras, as a gateway to the "capitalist paradise" of the West, has been for
decades a permanent point of reference and concentration for immigrants and refugees
looking for a better future. For a long time, between the half-broken dwarves and the
rusty machinery of the abandoned factories in the southern coastal zone (Avex, Lapopoulos,
Piraiki-Patraiki) opposite the new harbor, several hundreds of people try to organize
their everyday life while waiting for the opportunity to pass on to a ship heading for the
capitalist West.

In this everyday life, immigrants have to face a warfare that is artificially cultivated
by a front of local and central actors who have been forced to exterminate them. The
police, the media, the Coast Guard and the Port Authority, having their own aspirations to
exploit the area across the new harbor and not seeing the presence of the immigrants
there, have a good time, have begun an ever- increasing expulsion strategy. Daily chases,
beatings and torture, humiliation and humiliation, "broom" operations, extensive or not,
are the reality of the immigrants living in the area. Characteristically, we report the
recent serious 14-year-old migrator-knife injury by port workers in early March.

At the same time, today's political governance, as it has moved on to the cheap trade of
hope to continue to impose the plundering policies of the social base, like all previous
governments, has been driven precisely by the same anti-immigration policy exercise, in
cooperation with the international mechanisms (NATO, frontex, EU). Having ramped
concentration camps for refugees and immigrants everywhere in Greece, he continues to
stack them there, even attempting to reverse the reality by propagating the
appropriateness of living conditions in places where they are subjected to imprisonment,
repression, humiliation of their dignity.

Within this political context, and in full harmony with the anti-immigration climate, the
local media, the media, the financial interests of OLPA SA are gradually re-emerging in
the city. and the fascist gangs, a series of "Southern Communist Party Committees" call
for public concentration against the presence of migrants in the southern coastal zone. A
concentration that has clear racist and xenophobic motivations. They thus pave the way for
a "broom" at the expense of refugees and immigrants to be implemented in the immediate
aftermath of the - already announced by the central government - business, further
promoting the action of fascist gangs and repressive mechanisms.

For our part, as anarchists, we stand against the criminalization of people and the
prohibition of their free movement. We do not recognize in any state the right to impose
all sorts of boundaries and segregation between people on the basis of gender, race,
origin, religion, and so on. Our response to the state and the bosses must be the
collectiveisation of our resistances, the realization of our common position - locals and
immigrants - mutual aid and mutual respect, without fake divisions (nation-race,
legitimate-illegal).

We will stand together with migrants and refugees against anyone who attempts to move
against them and dry up their racist poison. Against anyone who tries to set up a
nationalist pogrom on the occasion of the encroachment of immigrants in the region.
Together with the immigrants, we will fight for a life of dignity, and we will not leave
the earth in every enemy of freedom. The everyday life of migrants and refugees will
continue unhindered at ABEX, Ladopoulos and wherever they wish.

Against the attempt to fragment the oppressed, we must respond with class solidarity. To
create class and social relations between natives and immigrants and to develop a
collective struggle against our daily dynasties ... let's break the social cannibalism and
the mechanisms that give birth to it ... for a world of equality, solidarity and freedom.
