Dernière semaine de programmation régulière dans notre club, qui a résisté à la canicule, à la tempête et aux assauts des musiciens lors de nos longues jams nocturnes de la semaine passée.
Mercredi, Joachim sera avec Jasen Weaver et Mimi Verderamme pour ouvrir la jam. Venez tôt pour profiter du set d’ouverture !
Jeudi, soirée de jazz vocal avec un apéro assuré par Adinda Hertmans, accompagnée par le patron du club. Ce sera la dernière de la saison pour ce duo dont l’osmose n’a fait que grandir cette année. Ensuite, le groupe le plus good vibes du Royaume, les quatre garçons dans le vent version rétro de Morning Call, viendra enchanter votre jeudi soir avec son quatuor vocal et instrumental unique en son genre. Un goût de vacances, de fête et de bonne humeur nécessaire.
Vendredi, soirée très spéciale avec l’un des tout meilleurs batteurs brésiliens et son trio — Doug Weiss et Vinicius Gomes, rien que ça ! — qui invite Seamus Blake, saxophoniste ténor de tout premier plan, connu de tout amateur de jazz qui se respecte. Il s’est notamment distingué aux côtés de John Scofield, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Bill Stewart ou encore au sein du Mingus Big Band. La late jam sera menée par Joachim Caffonnette, qui fêtera son anniversaire à minuit : venez trinquer avec le patron !
Samedi, la pianiste roumaine Ramona Horvath, installée à Paris, viendra en quartet présenter son swing aussi virtuose qu’efficace : à découvrir d’urgence ! La late jam sera ouverte par Simon Groppe.
Et pour tout l’été, lancement des jams du dimanche après-midi, pour celles et ceux qui n’aiment pas se coucher tard ! Première session avec Mathieu De Wit !

Dit is de laatste week van onze reguliere programmatie in de club — een club die de hittegolf, de storm én de aanvallen van muzikanten tijdens de lange nachtelijke jams van vorige week heeft overleefd.
Op woensdag opent Joachim de jam samen met Jasen Weaver en Mimi Verderamme. Kom vroeg om van de openingsset te genieten!
Op donderdag staat er een avond vocale jazz op het programma, met een aperitiefconcert verzorgd door Adinda Hertmans, begeleid door de baas van de club zelf. Het is de laatste van het seizoen voor dit duo, waarvan de muzikale osmose dit jaar alleen maar sterker is geworden. Daarna komt de meest good vibes groep van het Koninkrijk — de vier retrojongens van Morning Call — jullie donderdagavond betoveren met hun unieke vocale en instrumentale kwartet. Een broodnodige portie vakantiegevoel, feest en goeie sfeer.
Op vrijdag wacht ons een heel bijzondere avond, met een van de allerbeste Braziliaanse drummers en zijn trio — Doug Weiss en Vinicius Gomes, jawel! — die Seamus Blake uitnodigt, een tenorsaxofonist van absolute topklasse, bekend bij elke zichzelf respecterende jazzliefhebber. Hij maakte onder meer indruk aan de zijde van John Scofield, Kurt Rosenwinkel en Bill Stewart, en ook binnen de Mingus Big Band. De late jam wordt geleid door Joachim Caffonnette, die om middernacht zijn verjaardag viert — kom dus zeker mee klinken met de baas!
Op zaterdag komt de Roemeense pianiste Ramona Horvath, gevestigd in Parijs, in kwartet haar swing voorstellen: even virtuoos als doeltreffend. Absoluut te ontdekken! De late jam wordt geopend door Simon Groppe.
En de hele zomer lang lanceren we jams op zondagnamiddag — voor wie geen goesting heeft om laat te gaan slapen! Eerste sessie met Mathieu De Wit!

This is the last week of our regular programme in the club — a club that has survived the heatwave, the storm, and the onslaught of musicians during last week’s long late-night jams.
On Wednesday, Joachim will be joined by Jasen Weaver and Mimi Verderamme to open the jam. Come early to enjoy the opening set!
On Thursday, we’ll have an evening of vocal jazz, with an aperitif set by Adinda Hertmans, accompanied by the boss of the club himself. It will be the last one of the season for this duo, whose musical chemistry has only grown stronger throughout the year. Then, the most good-vibes band in the Kingdom — the retro “four lads in the wind” that is Morning Call — will enchant your Thursday evening with their unique vocal and instrumental quartet. A much-needed taste of holidays, celebration and good cheer.
On Friday, a very special evening awaits, with one of Brazil’s finest drummers and his trio — Doug Weiss and Vinicius Gomes, no less! — inviting Seamus Blake, a first-class tenor saxophonist known to any self-respecting jazz lover. He has notably made his mark alongside John Scofield, Kurt Rosenwinkel and Bill Stewart, as well as within the Mingus Big Band. The late jam will be led by Joachim Caffonnette, who will be celebrating his birthday at midnight — come and raise a glass with the boss!
On Saturday, Romanian pianist Ramona Horvath, now based in Paris, will come in quartet format to present her swing: as virtuosic as it is effective. Not to be missed! The late jam will be opened by Simon Groppe.
And throughout the summer, we’re launching Sunday afternoon jams — for those who don’t like going to bed too late! First session with Mathieu De Wit!
