We briefly review the main actions and achievements of the Single Union of the General Confederation of Labor (CGT) of the Murcia Region
throughout the year 2019. Our action has been developed in various companies and sectors, such as Correos, La Manga Club , Firefighters,
Ambulances, Port tugs, Rail, transport, Cleaning in Arrixaca Hospital, etc., not forgetting the feminist struggle and the dissemination of
libertarian culture. ---- The year we started with several open conflicts among them the fight in Correos for the creation of the Committee
on Occupational Health and Safety that had not been constituted in La Manga Club for 3 years for the recovery of the rights taken during the
crisis, the victory in the Consortium of Firefighters to reverse the outsourcing of the Occupational Risk Prevention Service, or the long
struggle at Ambulancias Martínez, an ambulance concessionaire in Cartagena, who committed all kinds of outrages on the dignity of drivers,
union harassment, Social Security fraud etc with the complicity of the Regional Government. Thanks to our struggle the company was neglected
in the new contest and will not continue to provide the service after more than 30 years ...

On March 8, we gave coverage to the feminist General Strike, which was a great success, with, possibly, the greatest demonstration in the
history of the city of Murcia that brought more 125,000 people to the streets. Feminism is changing our society and its struggle transforms
not only the cultural order but also capitalist relations. The struggle of women is a struggle for the values of equality, freedom, justice
and cooperation that inspire our way of being. A sign that Murcia are not going back to reactionary positions, but that we only need
organization to move towards a better society.

The year continued with the confirmation of the leadership of CGT in the tugs of the port of Cartagena, where we got all the Delegates of
Personnel and the collaboration with the student union FAE in the campaign for a public and quality transport.

The last four-month period was marked by the permanent campaign in Renfe for a public and quality rail transport that represents a key axis
in the transport of the future. Climate challenges must make us rethink the transport of goods and people, and the train represents a very
efficient means. But for this it cannot be subject to the greed of entrepreneurs, it must be organized through social and sustainable criteria.

In November we organized a series of presentations of books, conferences, music, and a photographic exhibition, under the name of November
Libertarian with the aim of making known the rich libertarian culture of which we are heirs and today is still present in the way of
understanding The world of many struggles and currents.

We ended the year with the creation of the union section in the cleaning service of the hospitals of Murcia, which brings together half of
the workforce, which leads us to close the year confirming the increase in membership, representation and collaboration with other
organizations Social of the Region of Murcia.

In the midst of these black storms there is a ray of light, the ability of good men to invent solutions to problems is infinite, we just
need a little more organization, a little less individualism, a little more commitment.
