Lebanon has been experiencing protest movements for several years, denouncing a most stifling economic and political situation. The
immobility and corruption in which the ruling class basks led to the tragedy of the explosion of 5 August. The Lebanese have since occupied
the streets and ministries, demanded accountability, and put into practice solutions to broaden their expression in the face of corruption
and the appetites of predators, both national and imperial. ---- A political class protecting its privileges ---- On August 5, a devastating
explosion devastated the city of Beirut. The direct origin of this explosion is the storage of tons of nitrate, without safety measures, for
several years. Results: more than 158 dead, several thousand injured and more than 300,000 people displaced from their main home.

As with any disaster, the origin of its outbreak is less an isolated technical incident than a succession of decisions, or non-decisions,
which silently and slyly lead to tragedies. In the case of Lebanon, the situation has been catastrophic for several years. In question, a
confessional system [1]. out of breath, where the economic-political balance, maintained by the community political forces, is maintained to
protect the privileges of one party and prevent any political initiative in the service of all citizens of Lebanon, including refugees [2].

Imperialisms on the lookout
All the imperialisms, at the head of which is France, want to keep their share of influence and domination over this country. This makes the
task even more difficult for the Lebanese to get out of this impasse. They must not only fight the enemy of the interior which is the ruling
political class and its military-economic auxiliaries, but also the enemies of the outside which are the foreign powers which place their
pawns, and play with the life of the inhabitants.

The list of countries that have declared material and financial support for Lebanon is as long as the lies that disguise that self-serving
support. Let us quote them to shed light on the hypocrisy: France, the United States, Israel, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab
Emirates, Russia, and Iran. The list is not exhaustive, but the countries cited are all currently having wars in other countries in the region.

France, proud of "its historical neo-colonial link" with Lebanon, sent, less than 48 hours after the explosion, its president to Beirut to
issue paternalistic injunctions to the Lebanese people, declaring to them: "We must strong policies are taken to fight against corruption,
to impose transparency, also fight against the opacity of the banking system[...]". From a country that has known several presidents
directly involved in cases of notorious corruption, without ever being tried, this "advice" is insulting. Guarantor of colonialism and
capitalism, Macron above all did not ask questions such as: can Lebanon, and more generally countries strangled by debt, not take their
deficit into account ? Cancel their debts? Spin the banknote to save their economy ? Finally put an end to their debt ? Remember that this
is in part what the great powers, including France, allow themselves in the event of a crisis. The latest health crisis is the perfect example.

A people fighting for their rights
The Lebanese people have been expressing their anger for the country's political and economic system for years. Here are some dates: August
1, 2015, mobilizations initially against the accumulation of garbage in the streets of several cities and the escape of the authorities in
an untenable situation. 2- March 2017, protests against the tax increase to address the dysfunctions of a bankrupt State, plagued by
patronage and corruption. 3- September 2017, demonstrations by civil servants, particularly the teaching staff, to assert their salary
rights, threatened by budget cuts. 4- October 2019, the straw that broke the camel's back: while the country is plunged into an acute
economic and political crisis, the ruling class is looking for "the solution" in a so-called "Whatsapp" tax on the use of instant messaging.
Several tens of thousands of demonstrators take to the streets and launch an unprecedented protest movement in the country. This movement
points to the immobility of the political system, denounces the corruption of the economy, calls for an end to foreign interference and sets
up initiatives to broaden the scope of the autonomy of the inhabitants of the country.

Following the deadly explosion, the call for the "Day to settle scores" is launched for general mobilization. Since August 8, thousands of
demonstrators, many of whom wear and tag noose with photos of Lebanese politicians, have taken to the streets, occupying ministries and
attacking official buildings.

Popular initiatives
In general, faced with the situation, the citizens of the country mobilized to find alternatives: recycling waste, management of first aid
in the face of disasters, popular education for food autonomy ...

The Union Communiste Libertaire, supports the fight of citizens in Lebanon for the respect of their rights to social justice, dignity and
freedom.

The Libertarian Communist Union, August 11, 2020

[1] The Lebanese political system is said to be confessional, because it was put in place at the beginning of the 20th century to guarantee
demographic balances in a country where each community values its representativeness. If theoretically the idea is supposed to allow the
balance of the communities, on the ground it was quite different, bringing especially the control over each of the groups by the local
political classes and their instrumentalization by the foreign powers.

[2] The Palestinian refugees then in recent years the Syrians, total more than 2 million people in Lebanon. Due to political and demographic
community issues, full and complete cityonneté (camps still established, denial of access to professions and healthcare services, etc.) has
always been refused to them, first to Palestinians and now to Syrians too.

For several weeks the attacks, aggressions or communications actions of various extreme right-wing groups have been increasing. The high
point will undoubtedly have been the "attack" of Saint-Sauveur in Paris, the day before the anniversary of the murder of union activist and
anti-fascist Clément Méric under the blows of neo-Nazi militants. ---- This Thursday, June 4 at around 9 p.m. in the working-class district
of Ménilmontant, in the north of Paris, while seated on the terrace enjoying the last rays of sun and the long-awaited deconfinement, the
customers of Saint-Sauveur, but also of the surrounding establishments, suddenly saw about twenty hooded and armed individuals in Blitzkrieg
mode. This cowardly attack claimed by the small group "Zouaves Paris", heirs of the GUD, resulted in a united response from the people
present and the young people of the neighborhoods, all united against the fascist vermin. We can see the latter perorate on a photo with
their magnificent "booty" ... which comes down to two stolen T-shirts !

This attack, however miserable it may be, is nevertheless symbolic in that it took place on the eve of the seventh anniversary of the death
of our comrade Clément Méric. His assassins, neo-Nazi skinheads then close to Troisième Voie, the now dissolved movement of Serge Ayoub, a
charismatic figure of the Parisian nationalist milieu, were found guilty and sentenced at first instance. All our thoughts are now turned to
the family and relatives of Clément, still awaiting the holding of the appeal trial, and whose memory is sullied by these Nazillions. Just
like the degradation in Nantes last February of a fresco in homage to Steve, drowned in the Loire following a police charge, these bastards
sully our places of memory and rejoice at the death of ours, ¡Viva la muerte !".

Additional law enforcement
This projection follows many others since the end of deconfinement: multiple attacks in Montpellier (see article) ; attack by neo-Nazis on
an associative radio station in Saint-Julien-Molin-Molette in the Loire on May 10 ; destruction of the windows of the associative café
l'Hydre in Crest in the Drôme on the night of May 14 to 15 ; ransacking of the premises of the PCF and the Insolente association in Chambéry
on the night of June 4 to 5. In Lyon, Génération Identitaire tried to occupy the field in a supplementary mode of the police with a
"security tour»In the center of Lyon on May 28th. These acts, still in the minority, are a signal that should not be overlooked, whenever we
let our guard down, the extreme right stands ready to reappear. Don't leave the streets to them. Facing the far right in all its aspects:
Solidarity and popular self-defense !

Every election in Belarus is held under the banner of the change of power. Lukashenko's dictatorship must be stopped by a strong leader, who
will take his place as the new president. This text is our view on who or what can rid Belarus of the dictatorship. ---- At the moment, only
Tikhanovsky can stand against Lukashenko out of all the candidates. Not because she's a professional politician and can hold a blow in the
political arena, but in spite of it. The uncertainty and sincerity of Tikhanovskaya during her speeches makes her "one of us" - ordinary
people who have never been in politics. Her speeches very often appeal to the personal experience of each of us with the Belarusian state.
And believe me, everyone has enough of that experience.

In many cases, Tikhanovskaya keeps her distance from global politics. That makes her campaign relatively easy to understand. Choose me and
get a fair election - the simplest election campaign that has ever been in Belarus. Candidates' rallies very often spill over into people's
assemblies, where among many anarchist activists call for self-organization and independence of society from the state.

There is no doubt about such positive points. So Tikhanowskaya is the savior of the Belarusian people. Is that right?

Not so much.

Indeed, Tikhanovskaya's campaign has become a unifying factor for many people in the country. However, the main energy in the campaign is
not some certain strong figures, but rather a popular grassroots movement. Simple workers and students unite to fight against Lukashenko and
liberate the country from dictatorship. Numerous meetings in regional cities were held without Tikhanovskaya at all, which did not stop
locals from actively participating in these very meetings.

The Republic of Belarus as a state has existed for less than 30 years, 26 of which are authoritarian. Attempts to develop representative
democracy in the region were crushed on the cliffs of the dictatorship. We do not believe that there is a good politician who will remain so
despite all the power received after the elections. The presidential republic presents the head of state with enormous powers. These very
powers will sooner or later lead to the abuse of power.

Authoritarian tendencies exist not only in our country. The western countries, beloved by the Belarusian opposition, are in constant
struggle against these very tendencies, in which authoritarianism has been gaining strength over the past few years. In the West, the
authoritarian state is opposed by grassroots initiatives that in various ways try to keep power within society and prevent politicians from
slipping down to totalitarianism.

Dictatorship in Belarus exists not only in Lukashenka's head. The entire state apparatus of the republic was built to adapt this form of
government. Someone can come to Lukashenko's place and honestly promise to reform the institutions of power, but history shows that such
reforms are rarely successful: among many other factors initiatives launched from above support the same dynamics of power - from top to bottom.

Anarchists have long been talking about the need to decentralize power in order to limit access to this very power for career politicians.
If political and economic decisions are made at the local level, it becomes much more difficult to make people accept the plans sent to them
from the "center".

Thus, many anarchists advocate the complete dismantling of the state bureaucracy. Its place should be taken by local councils that make
economic and political decisions concerning their region. Thus, Minsk will not be able to decide what should happen in Brest.

There will come a time when city dwellers will take part in rallies to discuss certain economic and social transformations, instead of
rallies to discuss candidates promising these transformations. The changes in society will be in the hands of every citizen of the country,
not the political elite living in the Drozdy[1]. Today, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, only you and I can get Belarus rid of the
dictatorship. And where Lukashenko's regime falls, the struggle against the dictatorship will only begin.

The government isn't interested in managing AVIFAVIR and it won't come for now, we're NOT even in line for the Russian vaccine or another,
being almost the highest mortality rate in the world. Clinics continue to become billionaires with the pandemic, hundreds of thousands die
of other diseases and emergencies from not being attended. ENEL and SOUTH LIGHT send millions to ruin. We could continue to list many more
reasons between corruption and omissions from the government that generate genocide. ---- The government apparently hopes to do business
with the Vaccine as a priority. ---- Some citizens already start denouncing the President directly for GENOCIDE. Among them the former
prisoner's cousin and President Ollanta Humala and some Officers (in retirement).

We are the opposite in politics and thought with these Ethnocacerists (the fascist Peruvian version) who desperately come wanting to make
alliance with Narco-Fujimorism. We only share the source of the news for the public to draw their own conclusions.
