On May 1, 1904, summoned by the FOA (in the middle of that year it will be renamed FORA .), About 80,000 workers were concentrated in Buenos
Aires. The act was attacked with bullets by the armed wing of the State and the maritime worker Juan Ocampo died: he was 18 years old and
was protesting together with comrades from the Society of Resistance of Sailors and Firefighters adhered to the FOA The workers transferred
the body of the young man to the FOA premises, where at night and in full wake he was kidnapped by the police. The body of the young worker
sympathizing with FORA is the first disappeared from the working class in Argentina. ---- On September 6, 1930, the fascist soldiery grouped
around Uriburu took over the administration of the Argentine State. Three days later, in Rosario, the mason worker affiliated with FORA
Joaquín Penina is detained by the police and a few hours later he is shot. He was 27 years old and has been missing ever since.

The Forista Joaquin Penina.
In 1951, during the democratic government of the military Perón, Ernesto Mario Bravo, a university student and a member of the Communist
Party, was kidnapped in Buenos Aires. Bravo was missing for 38 days. It was the first disappeared in the second half of the 20th century.

Between May 25, 1973 and March 23, 1976 - during the Peronist governments of Héctor Cámpora, Juan Perón and María Estela Martínez "elected"
by the people, around 900 people were disappeared.

What happened during the military governments that followed between March 24, 1976 and December 9, 1983 is public knowledge: the forced
disappearance of people was a central State policy.

In 1993, during the Peronist government of Carlos Menem, the young university student Miguel Bru disappeared in the city of La Plata. He is
the first disappeared of the democratic era (post 1983).

Miguel Bru disappeared on August 17, 1993 after being detained and tortured by the police at the 9a police station. from La Plata
In 2006, the state governed by the Peronist Néstor Kirchner made the bricklayer Julio López disappear. During the administration of his wife
Cristina Fernández, the humble adolescent Luciano Arruga (2009) and the rural laborer Daniel Solano (in 2011) disappeared: Arruga's body
appeared, but the workers López and Solano still remain missing.

Currently, justice for Luciano continues.
Those of López, Arruga and Solano are not the only cases that occurred during Kirchnerism; There are dozens of other people, such as the
disappeared women who are victims of sexual exploitation by capitalist mafia organizations that operate with the complicity or direct
intervention of the State.

Either through the "administration of Justice" (Residence and Social Defense laws at the beginning of the 20th century, Antiterrorist law at
the beginning of the 21st century) or "legal" repression (Police, Army and other armed and security forces) and "Illegal" (Liga Patriótica,
AAA), the State has tools that ordinarily fulfill the purpose of disciplining those who challenge the current social order. But when "law
and order" are not enough, they do not hesitate to make them disappear, both in dictatorship and in democracy.

The plutocracy of Cambiemos offered more of the same: repression to deepen job insecurity and wage depreciation.

The state run by Macri and the Cambiemos alliance took only twelve days to show its true anti-worker face: on December 22, 2015, the
Gendarmerie ruthlessly repressed the workers of Cresta Roja. In February 2016, the Executive Power decreed the "Protocol of action of the
State security forces in public demonstrations" to "ensure public order, social harmony, legal security and general welfare"; In June, the
Judicial Power, through its Supreme Court, established that "the measures of force promoted by informal groups" of workers are not
legitimate; And since the first days of the Menemism, the Internal Security Law has been in force, from which the Kirchnerist Antiterrorist
Law and the Macrista "Protocol of action of the security forces" are derived:

But the liberal government of Cambiemos, would not end its term if one more state crime. That of Santiago Andrés Maldonado, who on August 1,
2017 was seen alive for the last time, after a repression exerted by the National Gendarmerie where the anarchist presented his solidarity
with the struggle of the Mapuche people. His body was found in the  Chubut River , inside the Pu Lof , raided on the day of his
disappearance, on October 17, 2017, when 77 days had passed without news of his whereabouts.

Marches in Buenos Aires, for the appearance alive of Santiago Maldonado.

With the return of Kirchnerism back to power and under the governorship of the province of Buenos Aires by Axel Kicillof, a new disappeared
person put his body and life to show us, once again, that the State and its forces of repression can change their names but not of customs.
On April 30, 2020, after being detained by the Police, we lost our fellow worker Facundo Astudillo Castro. To this day, family members,
human rights organizations and workers continue to demand justice.

We workers must be prepared to resist the next onslaught of Capital and its State.

116 years after the disappearance of the worker Juan Ocampo

90 years after the disappearance of the worker Joaquín Penina

14 years after the second disappearance of the worker Julio López

3 years after the disappearance and death of Santiago Maldonado

5 months after the disappearance and death of Facundo Astudillo Castro

We do not forget, we do not forgive and we do not reconcile with the State!

In 1946, World War II veterans decided to run in the municipal elections in McMinn County, Tennessee. As the election results were
falsified, they raised their weapons and decided to defend their rights regardless of state authority. The small town of Athens in Tennessee
has turned into a battlefield. The city prison was under siege by a crowd that decided to take justice into their own hands, as the town
hall was plagued by corruption, police arbitrariness and held in power due to electoral fraud. ---- Political tension was already felt
before the war, when the influential Memphis politician Edward Hull "Boss" Crump announced in 1936 Paul Cantrell's candidacy for sheriff,
who won the election. The sheriff's office has introduced a new system of rewards for cooperation. A reward was newly paid for each arrest.
The system soon proved to be inoperable as dubious arrests took place, often without convincing evidence. Passengers and tourists were fined
for anything. In ten years, the sheriff collected about $ 300,000 in fines. Cantrell, meanwhile, broke into the Senate and left his position
to confidant Pat Mansfield. The atmosphere in the town thickened. The locals were really upset. After the investigation of arbitrariness by
the Ministry of Justice came to naught, the situation reached a boiling point.

During the war, many McMinn residents became involved in the fight against fascism behind the Great Puddle. The lack of capable people has
led to low criteria in the employment of law enforcement officials. Former criminals began to appear among the sheriffs. In 1945, the war
ended and troops began returning home to McMinn County to find that the corrupt town hall was stronger than ever. In addition to the
sheriff's office, Crump's corrupt clique controlled the local media, schools, and most institutions. The veterans decided to act. In 1946,
before the local elections, they introduced their non-partisan candidate. The Infantry Party (GI party) has chosen Henry Knox, a
distinguished veteran from the North African battlefield, as its election leader. As the infantry were not naive and doubted the regularity
of the previous election, their slogan was:

Preliminary measures have been taken following previous experience. Veteran Bill White formed a militia to observe the elections and expose
possible frauds by Cantrell and Mansfield. The militia was called "The Fighting Bunch" and was joined by about sixty armed men. The election
scheduled for April 1, 1946 was accompanied by a number of incidents. Mansfield's lineman Windy Wise forbade Tom Gillespie, an
African-American of retirement age, from entering a polling station in Athens. Despite the presence of the Wise militiamen, he cursed
Gillespie racistly and denied him his right to vote. Then he hit him with a boxer. The farmer dropped the ballot and tried to escape. Wise
drew his weapon and shot him in the back. The event exacerbated the situation.

The last straw was the arrest and torture of militiaman Bob Hairrell. Hairrell objected when the sheriff's deputies brought a cross-country
girl to the polling station who was not on the electoral roll. He was then arrested, the polling station closed, and the urn taken to Athens
Prison. When Bill White learned of the incident, he ordered the militiamen to seize the National Guard armory. The militiamen received sixty
Enfield rifles, two Thompson submachine guns, and enough ammunition to bring justice. After the official end of the election, all ballot
boxes were transferred to that prison. At that moment, White reportedly said, "Guys, something's up. I'm glad they did. Now we just have to
get to jail."

The prison was soon under siege. Paul Cantrell, Pat Mansfield and about fifty other men of the law were caught counting votes without the
presence of an official witness. The infantry took a strategic position on the second floor of the bank opposite the prison. If anyone in
the prison started firing, they could shoot him in bullets. Cantrell's boys were trapped. The infantry knew they had to resolve the
situation quickly before the authorities sent reinforcements and drowned the rebel veterans in blood. Several law enforcement officers who
were not currently in prison tried to break the siege to no avail. Soon, several linemen managed to escape through the back entrance of the
prison. They left their weapons inside. White ordered the militiamen to leave the fleeing alone. However, several representatives, including
Cantrell and Mansfield, refused to give up. The prison was covered with Molotov cocktails without serious damage. An ambulance appeared on
the street. The militiamen stopped throwing the bats because they thought he was going for the wounded. There was a truce. But the ambulance
said the Cantrell and Mansfield chiefs were picked up while their men were left to their fate.

White's priority was the ballot box. Time was running out, panic began to spread among the veterans. The prison door was broken with
dynamite and the rest of the linemen surrendered. An angry crowd appeared in front of the building, and a couple of Mansfields caught it.
Including Wise, who shot Tom Gillespie this morning. The crowd moved on through the city streets. He scrapped police cars and private cars
of corrupt people. After the riots stopped, votes were counted. Veteran Henry Knox has become the new Sheriff of McMinn County. The events
in Athens initiated a nationwide movement against the corruption handle of Edward Hull Crump. Although the infantry council also faced
corruption cases, they were never as serious as in the previous administration. Some party members made their disappointment with the system
clear in an open letter: "We overthrew one machine to replace it with another, even more powerful one.

On December 6, 2014, six years after the assassination of Alexis Grigoropoulos by police officer Korkoneas in Exarchia, tens of thousands of
people across Greece took to the streets and staged dynamic demonstrations, thus breaking the climate of terrorism that the state
deliberately imposed. period with attacks on militants and the repression of venues of the struggle and expressing in practice their
solidarity with the hunger striker Nikos Romanos. ---- Police in riot gear stormed a rally on Friday, removing hundreds of protesters by
truck. Police in riot gear stormed a rally on Friday, removing hundreds of protesters by truck. The result was a total of 6 arrests of
protesters who are being tried on Monday, September 21, 2020 in the Courts of Patras

Then, six years after the social uprising of December 2008 that broke the window of state omnipotence and "capitalist prosperity", but also
after the anti-uprising campaign that followed, we were faced with the total and all-out attack of the state against the society and in
particular those who resist.

Today, 6 years after the arrests of 6 fighters in Patras, and 12 years since the 2008 uprising, and in the midst of the covid 19 pandemic
that is accelerating the onslaught of state and capitalist barbarism on our lives, the meanings of resistance to the new state repression,
the conflict with state and parastate terrorism continue to be highly topical. The far-right and neo-liberal political management of the SW
continues the generalized attack that has been carried out for a decade with vigor against society, against refugees and immigrants, against
the battlefields and against those who resist. At the same time, the repressive plan of the state against the social / class movements and
in particular against the anarchist / anti-authoritarian is openly unfolding.

Today, the organized anarchist movement, as a part of which we perceive ourselves, must give all its forces in the direction of intensifying
the struggles on every front where state aggression is expressed, in the direction of connecting them with the overall plan of overthrowing
it. world of capitalism and the state, as this overthrow emerges as the only way out for the millions of impoverished and oppressed worldwide.

RESISTANCE TO STATE REPRESSION

SOLIDARITY TO ALL THOSE WHO FIGHT FROM THE BOTTOM AGAINST THE BARBARITY OF THE STATE AND CAPITAL

ORGANIZATION AND STRUGGLE AGAINST STATE AND CAPITAL
