From schools to clubs, drug use is common among young people. The vast majority have tried alcohol or other common substances at some point
and many do so frequently. It is no coincidence that they are at the center of many of our social interactions, often establishing
themselves as indispensable for their correct development. This, given its alienating and destructive nature, generates countless problems
both socially and individually, so it is important to know your role and fight them. ---- Given that what is important in this role is the
effect that they all have on society, we do not enter into the classifications that the State makes between legal or illegal, nor those that
created their means of communication between heavy and light. This only serves to justify the consumption of one against the other because
it is more "safe" or "healthy", leaving aside the fact that neither is. This distinction also translates into an excuse to exercise even
greater control, from special taxes that enrich the rulers to special police forces that, of course, operate mainly in working-class
neighborhoods under greater repression. However, even though they are illegal, the State does not hesitate to use them when it suits them,
as happened in the Basque Country with heroin or with the Black Panthers with crack. Both are examples of repressive agencies that use drugs
to numb and punish combative youth. However, it is not necessary for the police to introduce drugs into our movements through informants or
infiltrators, as it is common among our youth to confuse anarchy with drugs, which has led to a dormant and hollow movement of "anarchists"
whose sole purpose is to get high .
At the individual level, the negative effects of drugs on health are well known. From those in the short term like drunkenness, hangovers or
overdoses to those in the medium and long term like addiction, cirrhosis or a long one etc. Drugs do enormous harm to the person. There are
many causes that push someone into their consumption, causes that are very present in the working class and, therefore, our goal is not to
judge or condemn those who consume them, but to act against drugs and the institutions that protect them.
We understand that the only real way to face this problem is through total and conscious abstention. This abstention must not be passive,
but it implies an obligation to act, whether through information, helping people with drug problems or direct action against these institutions.
In conclusion, drugs are a control tool that justifies repression and soothes young people in a state of numbness, which is why it is
essential to fight them.

The Honeywell factory in Plaintel was able to produce 200 million masks per year, and it closed its doors a few months before the
coronavirus crisis ... Scandal of the law of the market that mocks social utility ; state scandal for criminal recklessness ... By defending
themselves, workers defend the general interest. Serge Le Quéau, spokesperson for Solidaires 22, tells us more. ---- With the coronavirus
disaster, the country discovered with amazement that it did not have stocks of masks, which are essential to protect healthcare workers,
those around the sick and all of the employees obliged to work for avoid the collapse of society. And no factory capable of ensuring
sufficient production in an emergency.
However, until 2018, the Honeywell plant in Plaintel (Côtes-d'Armor) had a production capacity of 20 million masks per month. But after 8
successive "social" plans , financed by public money, the factory had grown from 300 to 38 employees, before the American multinational
Honeywell decided to close it, going so far as to destroy ultramodern machines acquired. shortly before.
The Union Syndicale Solidaires des Côtes-d'Armor proposes that the Plaintel site be recreated as a matter of urgency, preferably in
cooperative form. Knowledgeable staff are available and ask for just that. The necessary money is also available: the European Central Bank
has released 750 billion euros to "support the economy". That this money be put in priority in the service of the health emergency and the
general interest, rather than leaving to private banks the privilege of lending it or not.
Libertarian Alternative: What's so special about the Plaintel mask factory ?
Serge Le Quéau: The mask factory has existed in Paintel since 1964. It was sold to the Swedish group Bilsom in 1986. Providing high quality
products, it was the first company in Côtes-d'Armor to be ISO 2001 certified Bought by the Dalloz group and renamed Sperian, it is known to
have supplied 500,000 masks to the New York firefighters after the attacks of September 11, 2001. During the episode of the H1N1 flu, the
French state ordered 160 million from it. FFP2 masks. At the time, the factory had up to 300 employees.
So why the tumble and the shutdown ?
Serge Le Quéau: In 2010, Sperian was bought by the American multinational Honeywell, and the problems started. Honeywell organized the
deficit, then bankruptcy. In search of maximum profit, the multinational has played on all fronts: redundancy plans, short-time working ...
all while taking advantage of tax gifts from the State via the research tax credit (CIR). Finally, in 2018, Honeywell announced the
relocation to Nabeul, Tunisia. What is most shocking is that the automated production lines, partly funded by the state, have been destroyed
and put in the Ploufragan recycling center. Eight high-performance machines, at the dump! That was the end of the main French hospital mask
factory in November 2018. The last 38 employees were laid off for economic reasons, while the 2018 financial audit showed that this reason
was unfounded. It appears that Honeywell has worked to prevent any attempt by the plant to limit competition in this market as much as possible.
The fight against the closure has not succeeded ?
Serge Le Quéau:At the time, the CGT and CFDT sections of the plant had issued an alarm call to prevent the closure of the site and the
destruction of the production tool. They had multiplied the actions and approaches, had even addressed Macron and the Minister of the
Economy, Bruno Le Maire. Radio silence on this side. No doubt they thought, like good liberals, that the invisible hand of the market would
serve the general interest. At the time, Solidaires 22 strongly denounced the closure of the factory and revealed to the general public the
destruction of the production tool partly financed with public funds. The chain of responsibility in this matter needs to be highlighted.
Honeywell leaders and the state are accountable to the country. Already,
The factory, which could manufacture up to 200 million masks per year, closed in 2018 after being acquired by the Honeywell group. Market
law scandal, state scandal.
How did the idea of resuming cooperative production come about ?
Serge Le Quéau: The idea came to us with René Louail, a historic member of the Confédération paysanne des Côtes-d'Armor. At first we planned
to create a Scop [1]. However, the SCIC form[2]is much more suited to our project. Indeed, the SCIC operates around several colleges. In our
project, there would be five colleges: a college of employees, another bringing together the local authorities associated with the project,
a college bringing together buyers (hospitals, mutuals ...), a college made up of support for the project (Solidaires, Attac ...) and
finally a "united citizens " college Who could subscribe financially. This cooperative would make any relocation impossible.
How was this project received ?
Serge Le Quéau: The former and former employees of the factory are strongly committed to the initiative and, in the context of the health
crisis and the shortage of masks, this proposal has echoed. The Brittany region, the departmental council of Côtes-d'Armor and the
agglomeration community of Saint-Brieuc have taken the idea seriously. They commissioned a former elected EELV, Guy Hascoët - who had
created the status of SCIC under the Jospin government - to follow the project. The project was fairly well underway until the start of the
trouble ...
What troubles ?
Serge Le Quéau: A billionaire, Abdallah Chatila, taken out of the hat by Marc Le Fur, LR deputy for Côtes-d'Armor, with the complicity of a
sulphurous ex-LREM deputy, Joachim Son-Forget [3], was threw on the project. However, Chatila's interest in protective masks is very recent
and opportunistic. A few weeks ago, he bought 300 million masks in China to resell them at a higher price in Switzerland, importing them
almost daily by plane. Seeing the promise of the French government to finance up to 30% of health products and the know-how of Breton
workers, he threw himself at the opportunity. He even preempted the premises we had found for SCIC !
A public market that is reopening ? Subsidies to aspire ? A businessman throws himself on the case.
And the public authorities will of course give it the preference, to the detriment of the workers' cooperative project ...
Result: with the support of the local and national press, Medef, CFDT and elected officials from all sides (including PCF), Chatila has won
the day. According to the latest news, he is the one who is going to reopen the factory, in the former premises of Chaffoteaux & Maury in
Saint-Brieuc. It will cost him very little: he will pocket enormous public aid ! It would take over nearly 150 former and former employees.
It is possible that he will relocate in a few years, after gorging on public money ...
At the same time, mindful of its social image, the Region would support the cooperative in parallel, on a modest niche, with 40 to 50
employees installed in the former premises of Alcatel in Guingamp.
As for us, we continue to work on the project. Informal working groups were formed, a university lab and economists from Attac's scientific
council offered to help. The Union Syndicale Solidaires des Côtes-d'Armor will participate in the construction of this SCIC project, well
aware of all the difficulties that will have to be overcome. But the only fights lost in advance are those that we do not fight!

[1] In a cooperative and participatory society (Scop, former cooperative workers' production company), the associated employees own at least
51% of the capital, and the profit sharing is done according to precise rules.
[2] A cooperative society of collective interest (SCIC) necessarily associates employee actors, beneficiary actors (customers, users,
residents, suppliers, etc.) and contributors (associations, communities, companies, volunteers) around a project to produce goods or
services of collective interest for the benefit of a territory or a sector of activities.
[3] Ex-PS passed by LREM, now close to the RN, Joachim Son-Forget is a twittomaniac histrion, caricature of the conceited politician and
devoid of political compass[Editor's note].

The Zádruha Historical Association has long been dedicated to the study and approach of the figures and history of the Czech anarchist
movement in the years 1880-1938. On that occasion, he runs a website, publishes brochures, organizes lectures and exhibitions, and cares for
places connected with the history of the movement. On Saturday, September 12, the association organized a guided walk through the history of
anarchism in Žižkov as part of the accompanying program of Žižkov Nights 2020. ---- Around two o'clock in the afternoon, about 50 people
gathered in front of Milíc's house, not far from Parukárka, about the radical history of this Prague district, which was introduced to them
by members of Zádruhy Karolína and Martin. The group then walked through Chelcického, Jeseniovu or Štítného streets, where stops took place
to talk about people and events connected with these places, such as the most important local representatives of the movement, such as
Michael Kácha, Karel Vohryzek, Marie Müllerová or Ladislav Knotek, about newsrooms and printers. anarchist magazines or the anarchist
associations that operated here.
According to the reactions of those present, it can be judged that they liked the walk. It ended at Hospudka Nad Viktorkou, where a benefit
concert for the Kucharek bez domu, a project of the Jako doma organization, which focuses on women's homelessness and supports homeless
women or who have experience with homelessness, followed at half past six. Before the music production itself began, a representative of
Jako doma said a few words. Subsequently, with veils on their mouths, the three poets recited some of their poetry. After the break, hc /
punk bands At Folsom Prison and Kunta Kinte band joined.

SHUTTERSTOCK ---- President Trump's attempt to paint New York City as as "anarchist jurisdiction" in a bid to withhold federal funding has
left local anarchists feeling perplexed, amused, and eager to correct the record. ---- "It reinforces the trope, and that's kind of fucked,"
Thom Kennon, a self-proclaimed anarchist and adjunct marketing professor at NYU, told Gothamist. At the same time, Kennon said he hoped the
national attention would get more Americans interested in the left-wing political philosophy. "I immediately Signaled one of my comrades and
said, 'Look, what a chance this could be to educate people about what we're really like." ---- He added that Trump's terminology is also
wrong, because "anarchists don't do jurisdictions, we do what's called prefigurative politics, building new more equitable worlds now."
In a memo released on Monday, the Department of Justice identified New York, Seattle, and Portland as cities "permitting anarchy, violence,
and destruction." The designation follows Trump's threat earlier this month to cut funding to so-called "anarchist jurisdictions," part of
the president's campaign strategy to paint Democratic-leaning urban areas as lawless and violent.
The Metropolitan Anarchist Coordinating Council, an active NYC-based anarchist group, condemned the move in a statement released Tuesday.
"We denounce Trump's attempt to scapegoat anarchists, distract from his disastrous regime in the run-up to the election, and pit other
leftists and progressives against us so that we fight each other rather than building the world we want to see," it read.
The group, whose organizing principles are "horizontalism, anti-oppression, mutual aid, direct democracy, and direct action," said NYC had a
long way to go before it could claim the mantel of full anarchism.
In Anarchist NYC, all New Yorkers will be as involved in building and caring for our city as they want to be, from block associations to
councils for local food production or promoting racial justice. NYC will be free from hierarchies based on race, class, gender, or anything
else. Our city will run on cooperative economics based on mutual aid and solidarity, not capitalism based on profit or competition. All New
Yorkers will get our needs met and our desires nurtured simply because we exist, regardless of our identities, immigration statuses, bank
accounts, or disabilities. We will embrace transformative justice and collectively determined community agreements over punishment,
policing, or locking people in cages. The land of the five boroughs will be collectively nurtured and called upon to restore our health and
our communities instead of sold, owned, rented, or polluted upon.
Legal experts say there's no constitutional basis for the president's threat. Both Mayor Bill de Blasio and Governor Andrew Cuomo vowed to
sue if the White House does take concrete steps to slash federal grants to NYC, which is currently facing a $9 billion revenue shortfall.
Meanwhile, many New Yorkers took the designation in stride, sharing videos and photos of the city's purported descent into chaos.

For background on the occupation we recommend "Feminist Activists Occupy Human Rights Commission in Mexico to Protest Femicide" and if you
would like to support or organize an action in your city, please contact organizers at the email below. ---- Update: During a Saturday,
September 19 solidarity action in Chicago, three participants were arrested and have since been released. For updates follow the Femme
Defensa Facebook page and donations towards jail support can be sent via Venmo: @femme-defensa and CashApp: $FemmeDefensa with a flower
emoji. --- Español Abajo ---- After the null response of the National Human Rights Commission (CNDH), its facilities have been taken over by
relatives of victims of violence and forced disappearance, with the support of feminist groups, since Friday, September 4.
Their stories have been circulating as a symbol of resistance to the patriarchal violence permitted and many times perpetrated by the State
of Mexico. We, (Okupa Sorority Coalition), invite the community to join us in organizing events and meetings in spaces, in order to weave
ties between our own community.
It is planned to start with these events from the night of September 15 and extend until the 22nd, the week of the Independence of Mexico.
Not as a celebration of Mexican nationalism, but as a feminist rebellion against the femicide of Mexican and Missing and Murdered Indigenous
Women (MMIW).
Our goal is to raise awareness about the struggles and sacrifices of collectives (name them) and individuals, who are still at risk of
government reprisals. We seek to grow resistance within our networks, empower our spaces and organize ourselves towards a more feminist future.
We encourage organizations and individuals to organize in front of Mexican consulates and wrestling areas in their countries, cities and
neighborhoods, in support of Mexican feminists and feminist causes.
