Fellow comrades, It can easily be seen that the general consciousness of the
masses has been poisoned all revolutionary thought is suppressed whereas theimported myths of liberal democracy have been deeply engrained in our minds.Indeed, those myths have been so frequently and eloquently repeated by thecharismatic demagogues from all sides of the political spectrum, that they havebeen equated with freedom, ?progress and social justice - leading manyself-proclaimed revolutionaries to regurgitate these perverted ideals, whilecompletely disregarding the oppressive colonialist context under which they wereimposed upon us by our staunchest enemies. ---- We're living in a chaoticsociety, one in which so-called saviors take up the path of our oppressors. Asfor us, we seek liberation amidst today's chaos. When we speak of liberation, wedo not speak of liberating one another, but one's ability to liberate themselvesfrom coercion and social contracts with the State. This liberation paves the wayfor the freedom of both human and non-human animals. We seek physical and mentalfreedom from the shackles of hierarchy and authority. Freedom from the dominionof the State that murders us, freedom from the dominion of authoritarianreligious structures that enslave us, freedom from the dominion of the patriarchythat oppresses us, and freedom from capitalism and property that destroy us alongwith the ecosystem. The key to find order within the chaos lies behind one philosophical and onepolitical movement: Anarchism.Although it has been continuouslydemonized and deemed as treacherous byour oppressors, we aim to present the trueprinciples of Anarchism, as an alternativemodel to liberal democracy and statehood inall its shapes and forms. Why try to reform afundamentally flawed system which wasdesigned and theorized by a bunch ofwealthy elitists centuries ago in order topreserve their ?privileges Why maintain asystem that was based on anthropologicalinaccuracies that have been debunked overand over again for the last 150 ?years Asystem that constructed erroneous racialtheories and all other forms of socialalienation to justify the wealth disparitiesbetween the rich minority and the poor?majority Today, we find the ancestors ofthe slave owners and wealth hoarderspreaching for civilization and human rights, without holding down on the use ofillusionary metaphysical concepts. From thedeceptive sense of nationalism towards our""mighty nations to the mystifiedconstitution and "rule of law", thoseconstructs, which have proved very useful toanesthetize the masses and reduce them to astate of unconscious, unconditionalconformity towards their rulers and theirbourgeois interests, fuel hatred andintolerance among their ranks and oftendivert their anger towards their fellowcommoners.Meanwhile, the countless fabricated socio-economic crises condemn the people to slipinto ever-worsening conditions of extremepoverty, pauperization and dependance, allwhile the rich keep getting richer. Notbecause we are without most essentialresources, but because they're simplyhoarded away and monopolized by the Richwho create an artificial state of scarcity interms of food and shelter to "meet the"needs of the almighty market, in otherwords, to maximize their profits. Liberaldemocracy is thus no more than a bourgeoisdictatorship masked under an illusion of freechoice and a set of limited liberties that willonly be granted to us so long as they don'tthreaten the status-quo.On the other hand, we believe that a freeanarchist territory should operate through ahorizontal hierarchical structure andparticipatory democracy. Both of whichempower the individual and the collective, and at Kafeh we practice what we preach. For learning through praxis gives us theability to adapt and contextualize anarchisttheory. And while many critics claimAnarchism is an imported ideology based on"western" historical and material conditions,we, on the contrary, see in it a rejection ofthe western liberalism that has been imposedupon us through violence and coercion.Hence anarchism serves as our pathway outof this oppressive model of society.Kafeh's organizational structure follows theaforementioned horizontal model, yet it isnot fixed - we constantly restructure inresponse to the fascist political climate thatengulfs us. It is worth a mention that thisspecific model is just one of the many that astateless territory may adopt.First and foremost, Kafeh is an anarchisthaven - a safe space for all comrades tocome together, build trust, and form strongconnections. Empathy is at the CORE of thework that we do. Empathy allows us toelegize one another and drives us to achievecollective autonomy through community-based and mutual aid projects. Empathy isessential to our purpose. And what is ourpurpose? Our purpose is to pose as an alternative tothe current system which indoctrinates theyouth into nationalism and power structures. Our purpose is to inject the anarchistmindset into Lebanese society. Our purposeis to develop syndicates and unions thatempower the people to break free from theshackles of the State. Our purpose is to buildthe necessary foundation to abolish allcurrent, and future, authority by creatingdecentralized dual-power structures. Ourpurpose is to engage in effective direct-action to spread our message. Our purpose isto connect, exchange information andresources, and stand in solidarity with ourcomrades around the globe. Our purpose isto physically and mentally prepare forviolent resistance. Our purpose foremancipation is but a matter of time.Ultimately, Kafeh is based on the following10 core principles:Radicalism: Fundamental change of existingpolitical, social, and economic structuresthrough revolutionary means.Autonomy: The ability to make informeddecisions uncoerced, and free from all formsof authority. Autonomy allows for thecreation of spaces that are independent ofthe oppressive and authoritarian structuresof the State and of Capitalism by building anetwork of sustainable political, social andeconomic alternatives through directdemocracy and mutual aid.Solidarity: Solidarity is a collectiveresponsibility where multiple people withsimilar ideologies stand united to support apolitical cause (such as the fight againstoppression). However, Anarchist solidarityis more nuanced. An anarchist individual orgroup MAY be in solidarity with anoppressed community in need even if we arenot in perfect agreement with the people'sideology. Humanitarian needs are moreimportant than the ideological agenda. It isnot a charity but a moral duty, and a practicefor the future anarchist society (we don'texpect solidarity in return).Direct Action: Targeted, political actionscarried out by an individual or groups thatseek to disrupt the status quo and encouragepeople to take power for themselves, outsidethe legitimacy of any authority.Mutual aid: An independent, socialsolidarity practice aimed at mobilizingpeople to empower vulnerable communities, once again outside the approval of any formof authority. Mutual aid is a form of directaction.Participatory democracy: A horizontalhierarchical model in which the people havethe collective power to make direct political, social, and economic decisions.Intersectionality: First coined by civil rightsactivist Kimberlé Crenshaw in 1989,intersectionality has evolved into aframework that views discrimination(gender, class, sexuality, race, ability, culture, species) as a compound experienceand not a sum of its parts. Oppression isnever singular, and the intersectionality lensallows for the inclusivity of all identities. Ithas been adopted by political movementssuch as intersectional feminism andintersectional veganism.Class war: Liberation of communities fromcapitalism and authority. The goal is toannihilate the political, social, and economicclass system.Ecologism: A philosophy and politicalideology that emphasizes the inclusion ofnon-human animals and nature in all social, economic, and political decisions. It rejectsanthropocentric values and advocates for thetransformation of the destructiverelationship between humans and non-human animals and nature.Internationalism: The cooperation andcollaboration of different individuals/groupsacross different territories to combat allforms of oppression.https://linktr.ee/kafeh https://drive.protonmail.com/urls/B7AF450GN0#6zHz5mLmSfZA_________________________________________A - I N F O S N E W S S E R V I C EBy, For, and About AnarchistsSend news reports to A-infos-en mailing listA-infos-en@ainfos.ca
