Our boycott of the upcoming parliamentary elections is not related to the groups,
lists, and individuals nominated, nor to our support for the ruling oligarchy andits system that it imposed on us. Rather, on the contrary, our total rejection ofthis system in all its manifestations, and our complete belief in the need toachieve radical changes instead of merely replacing a few representatives withothers from the "opposition" parties. Especially since they are not muchdifferent from those. ---- Elections within the flawed liberal "democracy" systemare above all a source of power to derive its legitimacy, justify its practices, falsify reality and delude the public that they enjoy sovereignty and the rightto choose, even if the power often represents only a small minority of the upperclasses. Past experiences around the world confirm to us the near impossibilityof achieving long-term progressive changes through the electoral process, whichwas the gateway for most fascist dictatorial regimes to rule throughout history. As for the "transformational" groups that we have already talked about, most ofthem include individuals with completely opposite political tendencies, and theonly common link between the vast majority of them is their belonging to thehigher social classes. Among these groups, those who call themselves"revolutionary left" allied themselves with the right-wing fascist under thepretext of "national unity", as it seems that the impact of their privateuniversities funded by Western liberal organizations and the "fresh dollar"packages that they receive from Zionist "Stiftang" institutions blinded them fromseeing reality I led them astray from their principles, if they had principles atall. These same groups cover up their opportunistic nature and paint it with thecover of "pragmatism", which compromises with the parties in power and uses anabstract rhetoric to ensure broad mass support, instead of setting clear goalsthat claim to pursue "democracy" and "rule of law" and other vulgar terms withoutpresenting No clear working definition of it. Finally, it is clear that thesegroups target the upper social groups exclusively and represent their interestsonly, and this is indicated in their discourse and criticism of the economiccrisis, which they consider to be the result of the last two or three years, whenits impact began to be reflected on members of the middle class, despite the factthat the rates of extreme poverty were high And it increased years before that, especially in the areas most vulnerable to marginalization, such as Akkar,Tripoli and the south.Limiting our participation in decision-making to the ability to choose between afew regulations to judge us is irrelevant to our concept of emancipation. On theother hand, what we are proposing are not flimsy slogans or empty promises, butrather an opportunity and space for self-organization and revolutionary actionaimed at achieving radical changes and building a progressive society in which weare not governed and subject to the tyranny of the authority, its organs andinstitutions, and our wealth and resources are not plundered and monopolized.
