optimism, was the underlying problem and that is that the capitalist system is

limited to a region or state, but has always occurred globally. That is why our
organization has always displayed its internationalist character. The CNT has
always supported the idea of the organization of the united working class of the
whole world, since workers and workers will always have, regardless of the
country we are from, the same common problem: the exploitation to which capital
submits us. As part of this global struggle, our organization federates with the
rest of the union organizations that make up the CIT, giving the necessary
dimension to the proletarian struggle.

Julius Caesar is credited with the famous phrase "divide and conquer". Power
always wants us divided so that it can defeat us. It does not want us to walk
together fighting inequality and it places borders with which to separate workers
and workers, promoting xenophobia. It is sad to see people of the same class on
one side of the border look down on those on the other side, considering them to
be a threat to their jobs. These workers and workers believe that those who are
on the other side are going to take away their livelihood and they fail to see an
alliance to fight against those who do take away their jobs and labor rights: the
capitalists.

The solution is none other than the application of the principles of
anarcho-syndicalism: internationalism, anti-capitalism and solidarity. Only then
will we get out of this barbarism and achieve a more humane world in which the
exploitation of the working class is only a memory of the past.

For its part, capital does happily cross borders in search of increasingly
miserable working conditions and that is why we must understand our struggle
broadly, not limiting ourselves to our immediate environment and we must think
globally, since the Capitalism does so in its attempt to enslave us. There is a
lot of talk about the problems that have arisen on the Ukrainian border, a war
clearly driven by the capitalist machine, but we hardly hear or read about the
Rojava border. Fortunately, we have a colleague from the SOV in Madrid who is
informing us in situ and whom I would like, taking advantage of this column, to
thank for being our eyes in that part of the world and thus being able to learn

The distribution of wealth, which the capitalist system snatches from us, should
be the priority objective of an advanced society, but in the society in which we
live, the opposite is encouraged. According to the 2022 World Inequality Report
"the richest 10% of the world's population owns 52% of global income while the
poorest half of the world's population earns 8.5%."

We continually stumble upon slogans from the system that urge us to compete. They
want us to compete, to see who can work more hours for less pay. But it is more
reasonable to cooperate between us and us, to see how to work less so that we can
all work and thus be able to guarantee a decent life.

Although we are going through a very difficult period in which capitalism is
taking us at full speed towards catastrophe, we still have a solution for it. And
the solution is none other than the application of the principles of
anarcho-syndicalism: internationalism, anti-capitalism and solidarity. Only then
will we get out of this barbarism and achieve a more humane world in which the
exploitation of the working class is only a memory of the past.
