Hello,
When I was a student, I came out to my family as a trans woman. This is when the torture started. I was locked away, beaten and abused. I would have never believed my parents could be so cruel.
They are educated people, but they did not know what to do, and they believed they were protecting me. The opposite was true. I had to leave my family and I lost everything.
But I survived, and today I am an activist and community leader for trans people in Bangladesh. Together, we are fighting to stop these so-called "conversion therapies" once and for all.
But we can't make it without you. You can tip the balance in our favor and help us ban these heinous practices for good. Your voice can make a difference!

ILGA Asia, an association of LGBT+ groups from all across Asia, together with All Out, have launched a large-scale campaign to stop "conversion therapies" in Asia.
In the coming weeks, more folks will bravely share their experiences with "conversion therapies" so we can dial up the pressure on governments across Asia to ban these dangerous practices.
Thanks for going All Out,Tarin Tani (she/her)
