The decisions of the Constitutional Council do not surprise us and testify to the
bankruptcy of the institutions of the 5th Republic. To obtain the withdrawal, wecan only count on ourselves! ---- We have nothing to expect from bourgeoisinstitutions ---- By censoring only six articles of the reform, including a fewrare social measures for the elderly, the Constitutional Council has confirmedits real nature: to protect the institutions of the 5th Republic facing thesocial movement. If we weren't expecting much from a few so-called "wise men"appointed by the President of the Republic and those close to him, this isstriking proof that social transformations, even the most obvious ones, will notbe achieved in the salons or by believing in the virtues of the constitution ofthe 5th Republic. By promulgating the law in the middle of the night followingthe opinion of the Constitutional Council, Macron is adding fuel to the fire andonce again provoking the social movement. However, this does not change anythingfor us: in 2006, the CPE had been promulgated before being withdrawn and neverapplied in the face of massive mobilization.The withdrawal will be obtained in the street!Faced with the failure of this last institutional solution, following 49-3 andthe rejection of the motion of censure, it is up to us, workers, unemployed,young people, precarious and retired, that t is once again a matter of fightingto preserve and extend our social achievements. The real surprise of the daycomes from the maintenance of the unity of the large unitary intersyndicale,which refuses a meeting with Macron which would not aim to discuss pension reformand puts May 1 in the crosshairs.For us libertarians, May 1st is an essential date for the promotion of our classinterests, and we can only rejoice that it is thus invested by all the unions.However, we cannot be satisfied with this. For this day to relaunch the socialmovement in a victorious cycle, it must be built in our places of work and study.Let's multiply the GAs, the strikes, the blockages and all the actions necessaryto maintain the radicalism and the combativeness, in order to culminate on a May1st of historic struggle!
