The social base itselfunderstood and denounced the conflict in Tempe as a state and capitalist crime.And it is so because only the unimaginable state indifference to human livescombined with the passion for ever greater profits of private companies couldshape the conditions and finally commit this mass crime.This crime is certainly not the first to be committed, the state and politicalleaders of all shades have an endless series of similar examples, from theincomplete management in the cases of natural disasters or even to the completelyconscious criminal policy against immigrants or with the increasingly morefrequent phenomena of police violence, which feels justified in its murderousaction against outcasts like Fragoulis or Shambanis.The concentration of anger in this particular case has to do with theunimaginable nature of the event, which proves if nothing else that it isabsolutely impossible for this criminal cabal of murderers and crooks called "thegovernment" to continue to decide our lives. The crime in Tempe revealed all thefragility of the state and its logic of profit. Inexperienced workers inhigh-responsibility positions, single shifts to reduce labor costs, completedisregard for safety protocols, no political responsibility for the situationthat led so many dozens of people to an unexpectedly violent and incomprehensibledemise.We have been saying for years that the devaluing of human life as perpetuated bythe chronically criminal policies of the state and the dictates of capital areshaping increasingly murderous environments. Today the feeling in the social baseis that we are in the middle of an undeclared war. And indeed it is so, it isabout the perpetual and merciless war that the domination has declared on thesubordinate classes, on the workers, the poor, the youth.However, the resistance to this dangerous and inhumane regime has now taken on amuch more massive, more conscious, more radical character. The huge gatherings ofpeople protesting the crime on the trains, met the resistance movements of theartistic world unprecedented in duration, militancy and radicalism, which againsocialized the squatter paradigm in an exemplary way, occupying a series oftheaters and stages. At the same time, the student movement that has not bowedits head all this time returns to the spearhead against authoritarianism andstate violence, and once again radical action through school occupations showsthe way of struggle. Finally, the occupation of the Rectorate of EKPA came toframe all of the above and highlight the common thread of social and classresistance.All of the above forms an irregular social situation and a strong socialmobilization in which the fighters of organized anarchism also act, being inconstant contact with the people who are fighting in squares and streets, inassemblies and clubs, in unions and unions.The political direction followed by the government in the immediately precedingperiod, investing in the overall attack on the social body but also attempting toeliminate all resistance within it, suppressing and terrorizing those whostruggle, becomes even clearer when one realizes who it is addressing in therun-up to the elections - exclusively in the extreme right and in the mostbackward sections of society, those who are far from any process of socialmobilization and are informed exclusively by the controlled mass media. Part ofthis attack was the evacuation of our "Mundo Nuevo" occupation in the early hoursof Monday, November 28, a few days after the 7-year anniversary of its creationand also a few days before the anniversary of December 6.But despite the desperate efforts of the state to suppress and suppress socialanger, it is constantly swelling. With continuous and daily demonstrations sinceday one, tens of thousands of people of all ages are constantly in the streetsprotesting against the bankrupt state-capitalist system that degrades lifeitself. Students occupy their schools, students mass their general meetings andoccupy their schools, the artists who wage a long-term struggle with occupations,marches and strikes against the repeal of PD.85 and the degradation of studiesand of their labor rights, include the state-capitalist crime in Tempe in thecalls and content of their mobilizations, while labor unions proceed to announcestrikes. Recapturing Mundo Nuevo beforeanything else means claiming to take a piece of our lives back from the bloodyhands of politicians, police, judges and businessmen.
