the majority Fratelli d'Italia party has published a brochure to tell
what has been done so far. There are 32 pages, which could have been 4
or 5 due to the gigantic font that was used and the excessive use of
photos. The newspapers have concentrated on the truthfulness of the
statements, obsessed as they are by fake news, which here we prefer to
call with the more appropriate word, bullshit: whether that figure is
inflated or not, whether that number is updated, whether the
responsibilities for a result they are their own or the previous
government's. A nerd's approach, which is fine, for goodness sake, but
which risks distracting from the real failure of this government.

It will not be a broken promise that will cause this right wing made up
of incompetent and evildoers to give up power, but the fact that the
Meloni government is the expression of an asocial, anti-popular right,
which refers to certain social groups (traders , various owners, police
forces) to whom it guarantees the continuity of a parasitic income.
While most people are forced to accept economic, cultural and social
abuses. Are you poor? These are your problems, you don't want to ruin
the bourgeois order. Measures such as the cancellation of the citizen's
income, which is also boasted of in the brochure, have gone precisely in
the direction of forcing those in difficulty to accept the shameful
salaries put on the table by increasingly petty entrepreneurs, and which
in recent times have been rejected with absolute dignity. And it is no
coincidence that the measure was removed just before the summer: the aim
was to provide laborers in conditions of semi-slavery to that world that
revolves around tourism, from catering to hotels, in order to then be
able to puff out their chests and enhance the new flows. In the formula
"yes to tourists and no to migrants", which marked the Italian summer,
there is not only the endemic racism of this painful rabble in power
but, once again, the precise desire to support the privileges of a few
to the detriment of many. Because, let's be clear, the Meloni government
opens the doors of the nation only to those who are able to spend, and
it matters little if with that money passing tourists plunder the
territories, fuel speculation in buildings and on basic necessities, and
expel people from the historic centres. For others, the migrant people
that this right detests not only because they have different colored
skin but also because they are poor, "the right not to emigrate"
applies, the latest nonsense born from these greedy patriots.

Then perhaps it would be better to overturn the epic story of the
victorious Italy and the story of "how the Meloni government is
restarting the nation", as written in the brochure, and analyze not so
much the lies or mystifications, which is everyone's daily bread is in
power, but everything the right is doing against the people whose mouths
they rinse every day. Far from the social or populist right, as it is
still defined by certain mainstream press. In just one year, the Meloni
government, according to Codacons estimates, collected 5.6 billion euros
more from the increase in fuel prices thanks to excise duties. This is
money taken from anyone, given that we live in the era of private, or
rather individualistic, transport. And instead of fighting this model
that these poor patriots invent themselves? Yet another petrol bonus of,
listen, 80 euros per person, or rather per family (and obviously only
for the family as the right intends it): a disgusting tip that will not
give real support to anyone and keeps the dominance of the energy
companies unchanged and the distribution network. A measure which, as
calculated by Codacons, will cost the government just 110 million euros,
a figure which represents 0.7% of the blow suffered by Italians, if we
consider the direct and indirect costs of the increase in fuel (14 .7
billion euros).

And it is not just the economic aspect that is predominant. Each of the
32 measures that the Meloni government boasts of in its first year of
life, ultimately, goes in the direction of fattening the privileges of
the potentates, taking away resources and rights from everyone, with the
aim of confining everything to marginalization what appears to be
different. It would take too long to analyze right-wing propaganda point
by point from this perspective, we will limit ourselves to citing an
example case. For example, the right boasts of having unleashed a "war
on illegal occupations": Lexical choice aside, what emerges on the one
hand is the announcement of "massive evictions", without a word about
who will be thrown out on the street, on the other hand the next budget
law provides for exemption from the payment of IMU "to concretely help
those who suffer the wrong of seeing their property illegally
expropriated". Understood? In the rhetoric of victimization, it is the
building owners who need help.

It is no longer the ancient adage "weak with the strong and strong with
the weak". This right is exclusively on the side of the strong and
against all of us. This must be the starting point for collective
mobilization, not the fact that the Meloni government is incapable of
keeping its promises, because these alone were disgusting and were
opposed to collective interests. The asocial right must be contrasted
with social struggle.
