darkness fell, fireworks were launched over the prison to protestanarchist Toby Shone's re-imprisonment and to let him know he is neveralone. ---- An armed police unit arrested Toby whilst driving toGloucester at 9am on Tuesday 19 September. Ashley Fussell, of theNational Security Division, South West, apparently ordered the arrest.The armed police unit is based in Bamfurlong, Gloucestershire, and wasinvolved in Toby's original arrest in November 2020. ---- Toby wasarrested and returned to prison for allegedly breaching licenseconditions. He is accused of having an unauthorized phone and takingpart in an "anti-state" dinner and letter-writing evening for anarchistprisoners held by the Bristol Anti-Repression Campaign at the BASESocial Center in August. These alleged violations apparently warrantedarrest by an armed anti-terrorism unit. Cops want him to serve theremainder of his sentence, meaning he won't be released until November11, 2024.Toby had just been released from the Approved Premises facility inGloucester, where he had been forced to live since leaving prison at theend of December last year. Probation could no longer justify keepingToby there under extreme curfew as the hostel needed the room and alsodidn't understand why he was still there.
