 Faísca Publicações Libertárias, the Institute of Anarchist Theory and

History (ITHA) and the Libertarian Socialist Organization (OSL)
established a cooperation agreement, approved during the second session
of the 1st OSL Congress, in January this year. The agreement does not
affect the autonomy and internal functioning of each party, but
establishes a more organized collaboration between the institute, the
publisher and the political organization. The intention is to strengthen
the dissemination of especifist/platformist anarchism and each of the
projects.

The cooperation involves support that ITHA and Faísca will provide to
OSL, in addition to commitments that OSL activists will make with the
institute and the publisher.

The collaboration reflects the work and maturity of the three parties.
Created in 2012, ITHA aims to serve as a reference for historical and
theoretical research on anarchism, promote theoretical training with
revolutionary purposes and build a research space independent of formal
academic spaces. The new website, recently launched in four languages,
will allow for greater international dissemination of work. Faísca,
which turns 20 in 2024, has already published more than 50 titles,
becoming one of the largest anarchist publishers in Brazil. The OSL,
founded in 2023, is a proposal for a national anarchist political
organization, with a platformist/especifist nature, and the result of
three decades of organized anarchism in Brazil.

Cooperation is seen naturally by the three parties. ITHA and Faísca have
been working together for some time, and both groups have the
participation of OSL activists. We are sure that this agreement will
boost our projects, and with this advance libertarian socialism, both in
Brazil and abroad.
