Animals First Aid is proud to announce a significant partnership with Save the Dogs BiH, marking a monumental step towards ending the horrific suffering of stray dogs in Bosnia. This collaboration is more than just an alliance; it’s a united front committed to making a profound and lasting impact. Together, we must do everything in our power to raise the necessary funds to change the lives of these innocent animals. |

We urgently need to raise CHF 80,000($95,000) for this new ranchIn Bosnia, the situation for stray dogs is beyond dire—it is a crisis that demands immediate action. The streets are filled with countless dogs facing unimaginable hardships. Reports have emerged of dogs being poisoned and even set on fire, acts of cruelty that are both heartbreaking and unacceptable. An article titled “The dogs are being poisoned and set on fire” has brought international attention to these atrocities, highlighting the severe and urgent nature of the problem. The suffering these animals endure is a stark reminder of the immediate need for intervention. |

The dogs are being poisoned and set on fireBruno Jelović, founder of Save the Dogs BiH, has witnessed this cruelty firsthand. Moved by compassion, he dedicated his life to rescuing and caring for these vulnerable dogs. His tireless efforts have not only saved lives but have also inspired others to take action against the mistreatment of animals. Together, we have established several dog ranches that serve as sanctuaries for over 1,000 dogs. These safe havens provide not just shelter but also medical care, nourishment, and, most importantly, love. Each dog rescued is a life transformed—a being that no longer knows fear or pain but instead experiences kindness and hope. |

The potential of what we can accomplish together is immense |

However, the need is still overwhelming. Many dogs remain on the streets, exposed to daily threats of violence and neglect. The stories are harrowing: dogs left starving, injured without medical care, or deliberately harmed by individuals who view them as pests rather than living creatures deserving of compassion. The scale of the problem is vast, and addressing it requires substantial resources.

|
Our partnership aims to expand this mission significantly. By combining our resources, expertise, and unwavering commitment, we plan to build more facilities, rescue more dogs, and advocate for humane treatment on a larger scale. The construction of a new dog ranch in Vlasenica-Han Pjesak is a critical component of this plan. While we urgently need to raise CHF 80,000($95,000) for this new ranch, this amount is not the only funding required. The ongoing costs of operating our existing ranches, providing continuous care, food, medical treatment, and expanding our reach to rescue more dogs all demand additional resources. |
