we live is undergoing fundamental change. At the same time, emancipatory
visions of how radical change can be made possible seem far away. The
question is not whether, but how we respond to it. We will not find a
simple answer to this in the workshop either. But we will train our
perspective and our awareness of the changeability of rigid conditions.

To do this, we will deal with anarchist concepts of social
transformation. These are set apart from social evolution, political
revolution and social reform. They can be described as mutualistic
self-organization, uprising and subversion, autonomous movements and
social revolution.

This gives rise to further important questions that we will reflect on
and discuss: How is it possible for us to look at the bigger picture?
How can we orient our activities towards fundamental change and achieve
concrete utopias without having a master plan? How are events and
processes, negation and construction, goals and means connected? Why
does it make sense to take a socially revolutionary approach, especially
in these times? And what does that mean for us in concrete terms?
