In just one devastating incident, sixteen stray dogs were brutally killed outside a housing complex. Such stories are not uncommon. Diseases like pyometra, jaundice, and liver damage are rampant, and resources to treat these conditions are painfully limited. Every day, Susmita is confronted with new emergencies, from malnourished puppies to dogs hit by speeding vehicles, and yet, her ability to save them is constrained by a lack of funding.
