and in some ways deservedly so. In the Middle East, the situation is
certainly like that. The United States has many levers of influence, and
if the Americans put more pressure on Israel in some issues, on Iran in
others, on the Arab countries or Palestinian groups in others, then you
could force everyone to peace.

But for some reason this is not happening, people continue to die. Who
could benefit from this, except for the arms manufacturing corporations?
Apparently, they are the main beneficiaries.

Trump has received good results from both American Jews and American
Muslims: both hope that the senseless Middle East slaughter will stop.
In connection with Trump's election, Iran and Israel have postponed the
next round of mutual missile strikes: not so bad anymore.

Peace to Ukraine?
The full-scale invasion of Ukraine will soon be three years old. The
Kremlin regime has proven to be much stronger than it seemed in 2022.
There are many alarming signals for Putin in the economic and social
situation in Russia, but it is not at all a fact that they will lead to
the collapse of the system.

During all the Biden years, Ukraine received less support from the West
than it needed: both because of the same strange indecisiveness, and
because of the threat of a nuclear war with the Russian Federation, and
because of serious consequences, for example, the disappearance of
Russian agricultural fertilizers from world markets.

Trump is not even close to a decision on the Russian-Ukrainian war - US
support is not the only factor in the combat readiness of the Ukrainian
Armed Forces - but so far everything is moving towards some kind of
peace without the defeat of the Russian Federation.

This is a very dangerous precedent, because it legitimizes the ability
of countries all over the planet to seize the territories of their
neighbors. In Europe, there are good reasons to fear that Putin will
soon want some of the "originally Russian" lands of Poland, or Finland,
or Moldova, or someone else.

On the other hand, a ceasefire now may give a chance to change the
situation inside Russia. The fight against quad bikers and childfrees,
blocking everything in the world, criminal cases for treason for any
reason are perceived by a significant part of Putin's establishment not
as the norm, but as the costs of wartime.

 From their point of view, when the war is over, we need to loosen the
screws on February 23, 2022. And when they start loosening them, we can
help! And then, look, the option may arise to wind ropes on lampposts
for the Eshniks and functionaries of "United Russia".

A good president?
Would it be better if Harris won in the USA, and not Trump? The problem
is not Harris or Trump. Just as the main problem is not Putin. Putin has
locked himself into all the key decisions for 140 million Russians and
the largest country on Earth for two decades.

Is Putin good, bad, kind, evil? It doesn't matter. When one person
decides for a gigantic number of other people, sooner or later he may
come up with some "brilliant" decision like Russia's attack on Ukraine.

The American president is a position similar in terms of concentration
of power and influence, only on a planetary scale. If a healthy person
is accidentally elected to this position, the position will correct him.

of America.

The only real way to end wars on Earth is not to elect a good American
president and not to overthrow the bad Putin. The entire architecture of
international relations must be changed so that decisions are made by
local residents everywhere, and not by leaders of shady institutions.
