THE DISORGANICAL INTELLECTUAL ---- As I write these few lines, a
demonstration is being prepared in Rome that really requires imaginationto call it such. Launched by an ex-77ino (but from the FGCI area, an
oxymoron) who from being an amusing satirical writer (at the time of
"Cuore") has now become the prophet(r) of the left of the historic
centers. Obviously rich (and who could ever blame him?) he has been
writing banal thoughts for years on what has become the worst daily
newspaper of the "progressive" Italian bourgeoisie (if there is
something in the shape of a bourgeoisie in Italy), namely "Repubblica",
which now manages to be worse than the "Corriere" and the "Stampa".
A SQUARE BY CHANCE?
A demonstration that will put together pieces of who knows what and
where each one will go with their own distinction. A nice patchwork
representing the confusion that reigns in the minds of the so-called
Italian "left". Including CGIL and ANPI who manage to produce press
releases that seem to have been written by a schizophrenic or part of
the script of "Ecce Bombo". For Europe, they say. But why not for
Mexico? But what are we talking about? What values are we chattering
about? I have never seen a square more sponsored, this one by the good
gentlemen. Certainly not a call to remember at least the 70,000 dead in
Gaza, not only killed, but as is now official, tortured, massacred with
impunity. And why do you want to dirty your hands with the risk of being
called an anti-Semite?
THE ASSAULT CARYATIDS
But on the sidelines and above this sort of "march of the 40,000" the
supporters of the "radiant days of May" are arriving, even if declined
in March.
A group of more or less old, but all rather idiotic, who raise serious
complaints about the lack of combativeness of the Italian youth.
The role of these "intellectuals" of little value is to give a veneer of
respectability, gain consensus and legitimize the lexicon of war. It is
a story already seen, if it were not for one peculiarity. The warmongers
and interventionists of the war '14 (for Italy '15) '18 (who would later
form the basis of fascism) at least, if not all at least in part,
actually enlisted. They were young people who contributed to forcing
public opinion (the people and parliament were against it) and ensured
that Italy entered the war. Obviously their role was also that of useful
idiots at the service of the war industry and the European powers who
had an interest in ensuring that Italy joined the conflict to lighten
the burden on the Western front.
Today, instead, we are witnessing a group of pseudo-educated decoctions,
infuriated by war and not followers of the right but, on the contrary,
who describe themselves as progressives and secularists. And on this
front (it is really the case to say it) they break down many more doors
than the right. Curiously, in this insane scenario (insane because I do
not think at all that capitalism, in its warmongering phase, is in any
way a rational agent, it is enough to agree on the meaning of this word)
the military and the right appear to be those who express opinions
(which may be instrumental, but no less true) much more cautious
regarding the use of a warmongering lexicon.
But what is nicer is that these imbeciles will never go to war, unless
they are used as ballast to be dropped by the F-35s.
OUTSIDE THE PACT-INSIDE THE PACKAGE
Listening to the words of that kind of Nazi hologram called Ursula Von
Der Leyern, one wonders what has jammed in the mechanism that was once
called "logical capacity" (I don't use the term "critical thinking"
because we've already lost that). But how? For 20 years, EU policies
have literally destroyed the European economy, adopting in a frantic and
ideological manner the dictates of a crazy ordoliberalism accompanied by
the sacred terror of inflation, even at the cost of starving everyone,
and now 850 billion euros are being spent, outside of any stability
pact, on armaments. Hospitals, pensions, countries like Greece sent into
bankruptcy, with devastating consequences on the level of life itself.
All forgotten in the name of rearmament. Madness, yes, but not for
everyone. The only Italian politician who has pointed it out is Salvini
(and Conte). We are truly in an unprecedented universe.
ADDAVVENÌ
But how did the former left (in the Italian case even communist) become
the first bearer of this warmongering fury? It is a Jacobinism of
assault that has married various pseudo-religious illusions over the
decades.
If before it was the Stalin of the mustachioed addivenì (at least a
concrete illusion) over time, once the ideological dams fell, in
practice the left has fallen in love with every irrational salvific
proposal. From the USSR to the delirium for the European Union the step
was short (the distrust was more on the side of the PSI, I must say with
much more reason). The arrogance of believing themselves to be the best
did the rest. Not a rational analysis of the international situation,
but a mystical inspiration. And the followers of this belief go to
public gatherings and, what is worse, to classrooms to tell the nonsense
of the 70 years of peace. A lie of stratospheric dimensions that to deny
it does not even require an in-depth analysis or particular readings, it
would be enough to have observed what really happened. The "effective
reality" of Machiavellian memory.
COME ON, SIR
But the most interesting aspect, which on one hand sees Europe now out
of any concrete international game (in 3 years of war not a single peace
proposal has arrived. Realistic proposals, not Disney tales of
"withdraw" and everything goes back to how it was before) and, on the
other hand, a completely distorted narrative, is the form
that this rearmament would take.
First of all, the European Union does not exist as a state body. After
all, a structure born starting from the roof (i.e. from the currency)
has never been seen. The EU can never be a superstate. The ideology on
which it was built, the crazy and dangerous idealism from which it
began, (a sort of "we were bad because we went to war, now we are all so
close together"), the belief that "history" ends somewhere (this idea is
also the result of a religious vision of human events) and that it then
becomes immutable (to quote Draghi and Mattarella "The European Union is
irreversible"....). That said, since the EU does not exist as a State,
this flood of money for weapons would be spent by individual nations.
Already a good criterion, and then rearming Germany is always an
excellent viaticum. Therefore, since the rearmament cannot be of the EU,
it will be of the countries. And once rearmed, what do you do? Do you
shoot each other? It seems obvious to me that the defense from the
"Cossacks" (who were also Ukrainians) is a gigantic scam.
Russia is the world's leading nuclear power. Against Ukraine he used
limited force because, as we know, you can shoot at targets with
Palestinian subhumans (who are all terrorists anyway, especially after
they are dead), but you can't kill too many white civilians and those
similar to us (for the military there is no problem, the number will
never be known). In the case of a war in Europe, things would be different.
MILITARY KEYNESISM
So what is the point of spending 850 billion on weapons? Absolutely not
to defend ourselves from Russia and, I believe (even though I doubt the
sanity of an absolutely incapable European leadership) that at least
everyone is aware of this. Indeed, let's say that rearmament is shouted
precisely because they are sure that there will be no war, then
obviously we should be cautious about security, let's say that the will
of this elite of boiled politicians is very far from embarking on a real
war.
It is, as it seems clear to me, a relaunch of military spending that
will end up fattening many American industries (Trump is a champion: he
makes peace with Russia alone, belittles NATO and tells the EU: "you
want to defend yourselves" "pay"!) and also several European and Italian
ones. A rearmament that therefore essentially serves public spending to
relaunch profits. Could that amount have been dedicated to something
else? No, because the mission of the EU is: austerity, savings, cuts to
pensions and privatization of healthcare, the opposite would nullify the
pillars on which the barn is held.
BUT ARE WE NOT SUPPOSED TO SEE EACH OTHER AGAIN?
Still on the sidelines of rearmament, another joke was born, this one
more dangerous, of the "willing", who would be the representatives with
their chests out of the air of an EU that Trump and Putin no longer even
consider worthy of a phone call. Not even the legendary Great Britain
seems to be so appreciated by the master of the empire (but hadn't it
left the EU?). Apart from the name (but don't they have an adequate
marketing office?), here we are faced with an adolescent drama.
They want to show that they still count for something, after having
carried out the tasks of the previous master. And instead niet! For this
reason all together as one man they dictate their conditions to Russia:
"just peace, go back to where it was before the borders". It would take
the flash shooter of "Men in Black", or a good psychiatrist. The hope is
that this too is a joke for the cameras and that Putin appreciates the
jokes.
