Stranded and lost animals need help to survive after deadly Texas floods.
Please donate now

Dear friends,

Over the US’s Fourth of July weekend, deadly flash floods tore through central Texas, leaving countless animals displaced, injured, terrified, alone and barely clinging to life in the aftermath.

In moments, the animals’ peaceful homes became disaster zones in one of the deadliest floods in state history.

It is a race against time to rescue the animal survivors, and we need your help.

The loss of life and devastation in Texas is heart-wrenching. In Kerr County, the Guadalupe River surged more than 20 feet (6 meters) in less than two hours, turning homes into death traps. We mourn the 105 people – including children at summer camps – who lost their lives. Hundreds more are still missing.

Many of those people had pets, and they and countless other stranded animals are still out there – desperately waiting to be rescued.

Local animal shelters are conducting life-saving search and rescue missions, but they are critically overwhelmed, with dozens of lost and displaced pets arriving daily.

As local search and rescue teams scramble to save human lives, it is up to us to save the animals.

Our partner, Wings of Rescue, specializes in emergency relief and the evacuation of animals caught in disaster zones.

Wings of Rescue urgently needs our support to fly tons of desperately needed pet food and supplies into the hardest-hit areas of Texas, and to carry out an emergency flight carrying dogs and cats from overwhelmed local shelters to safety in Utah.

More animals will be lost unless we act now. Your gift will help rush emergency support to Wings of Rescue and other rescue teams on the ground — funding life-saving evacuation missions, food, medical care and shelter for terrified animals caught in the floods.

Please, help us rush support to rescue teams so they can save as many stranded animals as possible – before it’s too late!

This is a race against time – it is storm season and heavy rain could spell another disaster, and the animals who survived the first wave of flooding may not survive another.

Help us race to the rescue of stranded pets and provide emergency food, shelter and care for animals who have lost everything in the wake of this disaster.

Please donate generously right now, Texas pets need you.

For the animals,

P.S. Pets in Texas face their darkest hour after a horrifying flood. Please help us rush emergency rescue, food and supplies to the hardest-hit areas before it’s too late.
