WORLD WORLDWIDE EUROPE FRANCE - news journal UPDATE - (en) France, Monde Libertaire - The July 2025 program for the Femmes Libres program (ca, de, fr, it, pt, tr)[machine translation]

The Femmes Libres program is a space for reflection and study of the

specific oppression of women in a patriarchal and capitalist society
based on male domination. This space highlights the strategies of
defense, denunciation, and reconstruction implemented by feminist
movements, in light of the analysis of social relations of sex, gender,
class, and origin. Each program usually includes three sections: guests;
activist information: meetings, conferences, publications, films,
exhibitions, etc.; and sections that vary weekly: The Free Tribune, From
Eve to Philomène, Without Forgetting the Others, etc. Each month, the
program is broadcast on the feminist network. It is often reprinted in
publications, such as those of the Ruptures network or on the
efigies.org list, in Télérama, and also on the website
https://www.monde-libertaire.fr/

Recordings of the programs are available at:

From Eve to Philomène, Without Forgetting the Others: Marie Lavoisier
(1758-1836), born Marie-Anne Pierrette Paulze, was a French chemist,
illustrator, and translator.

Lucie Giacometti: Cosmopole, Les Impliqués Editeur, 2025. By subverting
grammatical rules while combining sociological analysis, poetry, and
adventure, the book highlights, through a mirror effect, the domination
of women by men in our society. This is the story of a young homeless
man, a former bookseller, who tries to escape a femonationalist and
ecocidal matriarchal dictatorship by reaching the Cosmopole while
evading police state surveillance.

Accords et à Cris #11: Mourn, the Catalan punks. In 2014, Jazz and Carla
were in high school when they formed Mourn. In May 2025, 11 years and
six albums later, they are on stage at Point FMR in Paris: intense
voices and guitars, direct punk rock with carefully crafted
arrangements, and consistently committed and reflective lyrics. Interview.

La vie en rouge:

I saw prostitution everywhere. Podcast episode 9, season 1. Alexine, who
was involved in prostitution from the age of 19 to 21 and has since
escaped, talks with Rosen, 67, a survivor of 22 years of prostitution,
which she "believed was a useful service to society, while it destroyed
me." It was after watching a film about Rosen that Alexine understood
her experience, was able to identify as a victim, say "me too," and
commit to the fight against prostitutes. A path that wasn't without its
challenges, because speaking out publicly is difficult and costly.
Rosen, who was the first to openly testify about prostitution-related
violence, also recounts how difficult it was. But also so necessary.

The Clients. Podcast episode 6, season 2. "We're often told about
choice," Rosen says in the opening credits of La Vie en Rouge. But who
has the choice in prostitution? Who has the power? A special episode
with four voices. Listen to La Vie en Rouge, a podcast designed and
produced by women who have experienced prostitution.
