November 13, 2015. In 2015, 149 people lost their lives in ISIS attacks,
unfortunately followed by other attacks in the years that followed. Adecade later, we have not forgotten these deaths; we have not forgotten
that the far right, in its various forms, kills. Let us not forget these
crimes, here, as well as in all the other countries of the world that
suffered attacks in the wave that occurred in the middle of this decade.
Let us also not forget the racist and anti-Semitic nature of certain
attacks, particularly at the beginning of the year.
Let us not forget the slide towards authoritarianism and a security
state into which the government has slipped since 2015, in contempt of
the principles of freedom, equality, and democracy.
Let's not forget the wave of Islamophobia that Muslims faced following
these attacks by ISIS. In the wake of national outrage, the state
exploited the strengthened anti-terrorism protocols to stigmatize and
vilify the Muslim community.
Our thoughts are with all the victims of far-right extremism. Let's
continue to mobilize for them!
Against the far right, against all forms of racism: zero tolerance,
let's forget nothing, let's forgive nothing!
