Anti-colonial activist and libertarian communist Daniel Dupuy, known as Rolf (1946-2025), has laid down his pen. He was one of those erudite and prolific volunteer historians thanks to whom the memory of the movement is perpetuated. Those curious about history have inevitably, at one time or another, come across the International Dictionary of Anarchist Activists[1], containing more than 19,000 biographical entries. Since the 2000s, this had been Rolf's magnum opus, in which he simultaneously pursued another, more specifically Spanish project: the Dictionary of Anti-Francoist Guerrillas and Resistance Fighters[2], covering the period 1936-1975, which contains more than 11,000 entries. ...
