Cette semaine dans votre club de jazz : un peu de New Orleans teinté de folk américaine, un vibraphoniste virtuose, votre rendez-vous mensuel avec le Brussels Rhythm’n Blues Club et, après un hommage à deux géants du saxophone, une soirée de chanson française. On sort un peu de notre zone de confort, mais ça fait du bien parfois !
Mercredi, la jam sera ouverte par le guitariste brésilien Victor Da Costa. Venez profiter du set d’ouverture et d’une soirée toujours conviviale où des talents de tous horizons jazzistiques se croisent sur scène.
Jeudi, apéro avec Joachim Caffonnette et le vibraphoniste Martin Méreau pour lancer la soirée sous les meilleurs auspices. On accueille ensuite le projet Alice Riverband de la tromboniste et chanteuse Alice Riberolles. Un quintet qui puise son inspiration dans le delta du Mississippi et qui transpire la sincérité.
Vendredi, Robert Jukic propose la dernière soirée de sa carte blanche en invitant deux percussionnistes autrichiens de premier plan : le batteur Wolfi Reiner et le vibraphoniste Flip Philipp, membre du Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra ! La late jam sera ouverte par Marek Patrman et sa classe légendaire.
Samedi, pour la soirée Rhythm ’n’ Blues, c’est Smokestack Charlie qui sera la tête d’affiche avec son blues de Chicago sans chichis qui fait plaisir. La late jam sera donc 100 % Blues ce soir-là !
Dimanche enfin, pour notre série Nostalgia in Grand Place, Antoine Lissoir et Mathieu Najean rendront hommage à l’une des associations les plus swinguantes de la Swing Era (c’est dire si ça swingue !) : Johnny Hodges et Ben Webster. Action spéciale avec notre partenaire Omer : une bière Omer offerte avec votre ticket !
Et pour finir la semaine, place à la chanson française. Nous accueillons tous les mois les « Soirées Chantal » avec un plateau d’auteurs-compositeurs en langue de Molière, suivi d’un micro ouvert.

Deze week in de club: e bitske New Orleans me ne fond de folk, ne straffe vibrafonist, de Brussels Rhythm’n Blues Club en — na ne tribute aan de sax-reuzen — e festijn van 't Frans lied. We goon e bitske "out of the box", mo da doet deugd, ne keer get anders !
Woensdag, de jam begint me de gitarist van de "beaux quartiers", Victor Da Costa. Komt af veur de muziek en de sfeer, 't is altijd ambiance me talenten van alle kanten.
Donderdag, apéro me Joachim Caffonnette en Martin Méreau op de vibrafoon veur de soirée goe te lanceren. Doano is 't de beurt aan Alice Riverband. Die maskes en gasts spelen muziek uit de Mississippi, recht uit 't hart, echt woar !
Vrijdag, de Robert Jukic doet zenne laatste "carte blanche" me twee Oostenrijkers van de bovenste plank: Wolfi Reiner op de batterie en Flip Philipp van de Vienna Philharmonic. De late jam is veur de Marek Patrman, ne klasbak me veel présence.
Zaterdag, veur de Rhythm ’n’ Blues, hebben we Smokestack Charlie. Chicago blues zonder tralala, juste veur 't plezier. De late jam zal dus ook 100% Blues zen !
Zondag ten slotte, veur Nostalgia in Grand Place, is 't aan Antoine Lissoir en Mathieu Najean. Die gaan hulde brengen aan Johnny Hodges en Ben Webster. Da gaat swingen, dedju ! En 't is actie me de partner: een Omerke cadeau bij uw ticket !

This week at your jazz club: a touch of New Orleans tinged with American folk, a virtuoso vibraphonist, our monthly rendezvous with the Brussels Rhythm’n Blues Club, and—following a tribute to two saxophone giants—an evening of French chanson. We’re stepping out of our comfort zone a bit, but a change is as good as a rest, isn't it?
Wednesday: the jam session will be kicked off by Brazilian guitarist Victor Da Costa. Do drop by for the opening set and stay for a convivial evening where talents from all jazz horizons cross paths on stage.
Thursday: aperitifs with Joachim Caffonnette and vibraphonist Martin Méreau to get the evening off to a cracking start. We then welcome the Alice Riverband project, led by trombonist and singer Alice Riberolles. A quintet drawing inspiration from the Mississippi Delta—pure, heartfelt sincerity.
Friday: Robert Jukic presents the final night of his "carte blanche," inviting two top-tier Austrian percussionists: drummer Wolfi Reiner and vibraphonist Flip Philipp of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra! The late jam will be led by the legendary and effortlessly classy Marek Patrman.
Saturday: for our Rhythm ’n’ Blues night, Smokestack Charlie takes centre stage with some no-nonsense Chicago blues that’s sure to hit the spot. Naturally, the late jam will be 100% Blues that night!
Sunday: finally, for our Nostalgia in Grand Place series, Antoine Lissoir and Mathieu Najean pay tribute to one of the swingiest pairings of the Swing Era: Johnny Hodges and Ben Webster. A special treat from our partner Omer: a free Omer beer with your ticket!
To wrap up the week, we host the monthly "Soirées Chantal"—a showcase of singer-songwriters performing in the language of Molière, followed by an open mic.
