While March 8th is firmly established as a date for massive feminist mobilizations, our movements are increasingly facing attempts at infiltration by fascist groups. Maintaining our antifascist stance is now a major challenge in our struggles and a necessity for ensuring our unity. ---- The political events of recent weeks have undeniably shaken the media image of Némésis. While we saw few of them in the streets this March 8th, we are familiar with their racist rhetoric equating immigration with sexist and sexual violence, as well as their various strategies for self-proclaiming themselves as representatives of feminism.

The group "Nous Vivrerons" (We Will Live), formed after October 7, 2023, and defending the State of Israel, colonization, and the genocide in Palestine in the name of violence suffered by Jewish women, called on March 8 to gather on the sidelines of the inter-union rally planned in Marseille. The group is now adopting a strategy similar to that of Nemesis, attempting to infiltrate the feminist movement to promote its Zionist agenda.

Feminists mobilized in Marseille to reaffirm an anti-racist and anti-imperialist feminism... despite the ban imposed by the prefecture. Together, and in women-only sections, the security personnel of the radical feminist demonstration and part of the inter-union group held their ground against the far-right group.

"Nous Vivrerons" has been joined this year by the LR (Les Républicains) candidate for mayor, as well as, in several cities, by Iranian activists who glorify the US military for its intervention. While we do not minimize the extent of the patriarchal violence occurring in Iran, we condemn the imperialist policies of the United States, which invariably result in the deaths of civilians in the Middle East and are driven solely by capitalist and colonialist interests. Even though they were unable to march, it is clear that the "We Will Live" rally managed to take place in our streets under the protection of the riot police and the anti-crime squad, who used batons and tear gas to protect the fascist gathering.

Let's be clear: there is no, and there will be no, feminist alliance with fascists and their allies. Zionism is a nationalist, colonial, and genocidal project. We are not fooled, and we will not march with the defenders of a fascist project, whether it be that of Nous Vivrens or that of Némésis.

The far right usurps feminism to claim to "defend women against immigrant men" and to propagate, time and again, the conflation of violence and immigration. Its small groups seek to infiltrate our demonstrations in order to later use a collective "we" to bolster their numbers, entrench fascism in public opinion, and destroy our checks and balances.

While our feminist movements have known for many years that confronting far-right groups in the streets and at our demonstrations now means confronting an armed police force that defends them, our resolve will hold as long as necessary to resist the implantation of fascism. More than ever, we affirm that our struggles against sexist and sexual violence are also struggles against imperialism and racism. Because our feminist struggles only make sense as antifascists, because our bodies will never belong to reactionaries.
