Animals First Aid is partnering with Olfa, an independent rescuer caring for around 70 cats and dogs almost entirely on her own. She has no paid staff. No large shelter. No major donors. She feeds hungry street animals, pays boarding fees, rescues the injured, sterilizes when she can, and fights every day to keep vulnerable animals alive.
And because people know she cares, abandoned animals keep appearing. Sick kittens left where she feeds. Dogs collapsing on roadsides. Pregnant cats giving birth in dangerous places because nowhere safe exists. In just recent ten-day period, Olfa rescued six more kittens. There is no room left - but the suffering has not stopped.
One of the hardest stories she shared is Mabrouka’s…
Mabrouka was giving birth in a parking lot when she was attacked. Two of her newborn kittens were killed before Olfa could save her. No rescuer should have to carry this much heartbreak alone.
Today, Olfa is facing the point every rescuer fears: overwhelming food bills, boarding fees, veterinary debt, emergency treatment costs. She can no longer keep up alone. Still, she keeps going. Still, she stops the car. Still, she opens the door.
Animals First Aid exists for rescuers like Olfa - the people already doing everything they can for animals with nowhere else to turn. But we cannot help her without you.
Please, will you donate $35, $50, $100, or whatever you can today?
