We were in the streets on May 1st, 2026. Many people mobilized to defend this day of struggle against the threats of the government and employers. An example of class reflex. The lack of a large-scale social movement within the labor movement was thus counterbalanced.
For the most part, the international context influenced the slogans. Wages and social justice were therefore tinged with anti-imperialism and opposition to the war.
