The war in Sudan continues, and it is becoming increasingly clear that it is an imperialist war with international support. Chad and Libya have become major centers for mobilization and recruitment of the Janjaweed forces, while Ethiopia has joined the conflict by attacking the Blue Nile region.

This war affects all of Sudan. Every day, thousands of vulnerable Sudanese are displaced and left to fend for themselves, without basic services and without compassion. We continue to witness grave human rights violations daily in Darfur and Kordofan, and now also in the Blue Nile, indicating that the conflict is unlikely to end soon.

This senseless war seeks to destroy the population: to kill them, brutalize them, and plunder their resources. The current war is not just a political or military conflict; it is a devastating economic war. Meeting even the most basic needs has become a real struggle, even for those living far from the front lines. Attacks on power plants have led to successive agricultural losses, destroying grain reserves and crops and devastating the livelihoods and projects of small farmers.

In wars waged by the state itself, the ultimate losers are always the people. But the Janjaweed war against Sudan today is a war whose objective is to dismantle indigenous communities and completely displace them.

On the other hand, with the spread of dengue fever and other deadly diseases in Sudan, obtaining medicine has become extremely difficult due to the collapse of the health system. The shortage of medical personnel and the destruction of 70% of hospitals have exposed millions of children, women, and vulnerable people to a likely death toll greater than that directly caused by this catastrophic war.

The Sudanese Anarchist Group asks you to support a fundraising campaign to provide life-saving medicines, such as paracetamol, antibiotics, Flagyl, and intravenous fluids.

As we fight to end this war, we also fight to lessen its impact on our people.
