Ukraine just launched a massive 400-drone attack on the Moscow region overnight.
Apart from fuel sites, the drones also struck a major warehouse operated by Wildberries – the Russian equivalent of Amazon. The attack is likely to be felt by ordinary Russians, as the company processes a large share of the country’s online purchases.
The attacks are likely retaliation for another massive air raid on Kyiv over the weekend, when around 40 ballistic missiles were launched against the capital overnight into Sunday. The attack struck residential buildings and, reportedly, also the UKRTAC military gear and protective equipment factory. With the intensified attacks this month, reports suggest Russia has already launched more than 1,450 drones over the past week – and more ballistic missiles in the past 19 days than it used to produce in an entire month.
Back in Kyiv, the Fedorov situation remains unresolved. Reports suggest Zelensky might finally replace Syrsky. Budanov hinted that something is being worked out today, but there is still no news on where Fedorov is headed.
