Dear friends,   Thanks to your kindness, Susmita was able to buy food for the animals who depend on her—not only hungry dogs, but cows too. Yes, cows. It seems no one remembered to tell the neighborhood’s hungriest guests that Susmita’s rescue menu was meant for dogs.   She was deeply grateful. For a precious moment, there was relief: bowls could be filled, hungry animals could eat, and Susmita knew she was not facing this enormous responsibility alone.   But the emergencies never stop.   Lucy has now arrived with a broken hip. She is in pain and needs urgent care, adding another devastating case when Susmita’s limited resources are already stretched to their limit.   Animals First Aid, in partnership with Susmita, is asking you to please help again.
