Kyiv was hit hard once again – and it’s becoming regular.
Russia appears to be hitting Kyiv with impunity, as drone attacks persisted nearly non-stop for a few days in a row, with the Kremlin saying Ukraine will “pay its price” as the Russian military was, supposedly, told to hit anything they “consider appropriate.”
Over the weekend, explosions rocked the capital incessantly, with data centers appearing to be a new target. But the attacks also spread to educational institutions in the city center today, as well as a medical facility mere blocks away from the Kyiv Post office.
While Kyiv also secured successes in hitting more Russian refineries and liberating settlements in the Donbas, tragedies continued to unfold across Ukraine, in Kherson’s Oleshky and in reports of Russian troops using kids as human shields while retreating through pipelines.
The unthinkable is now becoming unremarkable. Is this what we have become?
