War, sanctions, economic siege, and the collapse of Iran's national currency have pushed millions of people into food insecurity.

Today, the Iranian rial has lost much of its value, while one US dollar is worth over 2,000,000 rials. The price of meat has increased by more than 150%, rice by around 60%, and eggs and many other essential basic goods have multiplied in price.

Food inflation has reached catastrophic levels. These are not mere statistics; they are the reality of empty tables and children deprived of nutrition and a future.

We declare that this famine is not a natural disaster. It is a political famine, man-made.

The Islamic Republic, through its militarism and violent repression, and the United States, through sanctions and an economic blockade that directly harms civilians, are both responsible for this ongoing catastrophe.

The people of Iran must not be forced to pay for the conflicts of states with hunger and death.

We call upon anarchists, independent trade unions, communes, mutual aid networks, and all freedom-loving people worldwide to:

- Break the silence and expose the humanitarian catastrophe unfolding in Iran.

- Build networks of solidarity and mutual aid to support the people.

- Speak out against the repression and massacres, the war, the sanctions, and the collective punishment of civilians.

- Amplify the voices of Iranian society on the world stage.
