Kasa Invisível is an occupation that, since 2013, has been developing social and community activities in Belo Horizonte. The space brings together housing, a social center, and cooperatives, in addition to promoting free activities and articulating support networks with residents of the surrounding area, other occupations, and people in vulnerable situations. Over 13 years, its trajectory has become part of the history of the struggles for the right to housing and the city in Belo Horizonte.

At this moment, Kasa is monitoring the legal measures related to the eviction process and organizing resistance to the possible eviction. In this context, mobilization and solidarity with the space are fundamental. The organization will disseminate, through its channels, new calls for action and information about resistance initiatives, including holding an open meeting to collectively discuss the next steps.

The OSL reaffirms its commitment to defending the right to housing and the right to the city. Faced with the threat of eviction, we express our solidarity with Kasa Invisível and the people who build and sustain the space, defending its permanence and continuity.
