World ALL OUT We love Luc‏

You're pretty incredible, Luc.
Without people like you, our campaigns just wouldn’t work. You and other All Out members around the world are the fire that fuels victories for love and equality.
Just take a look at some of your amazing victories from the past few months:
Uganda
In July, over 2,500 All Out members donated enough to fund a week of Pride in Uganda. And when police violently raided a Pride Uganda beauty pageant, you continued to be there.
After the raid, attendees were in desperate need of medical help and safe housing. In less than 24 hours, All Out members donated the $17,900 needed to cover those costs for victims of the raid – including one young man who was so afraid, he jumped out the 4th floor window.
These brave activists continue to fight, and we’ll continue to stand with them in solidarity. The Pride parade was rescheduled for September 24, with unequivocal permission from the Uganda police. Stay tuned for how you can continue to show your support!
China
Xiaoyu Wang is a student at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in China. When photos of her girlfriend proposing to her went viral, the university threatened to withhold her diploma, outed her to her parents, and had the police break into her apartment.
Over 75,000 All Out members demanded the university apologise. This support showed Xiaoyu Wang and other activists in China that they're not alone and helped bring international attention to their school’s homophobic treatment of students.
Aruba
A few weeks ago, an All Out member from Aruba reached out for help pressuring the Aruban Parliament to pass civil unions for same-sex couples. All Out members like you from around the world jumped into action.
With True Colors Aruba and other local partners, we delivered more than 50,000 signatures to members of Parliament. And it worked: late last week Parliament said YES to love and passed civil unions!
South Africa
And earlier TODAY, notorious homophobe, U.S. pastor Steven Anderson, was officially banned from entering South Africa, where he was planning to visit and spread messages of bigotry and hate.
South African Minister of Home Affairs, Malusi Gigaba, emphasisedhow important the 60,000 signatures from All Out members were in influencing this win for love.
The last few months show the power of our movement. All around the world, All Out members are having a real impact on the lives of lesbian, gay, bi, and trans people.
But the only way we’ll see more victories like these is if people like you continue to support this work. Luc, chip in today to power more amazing wins in the coming months.
From all of us here on the All Out team – thanks for all you do,
Matt, Cole, Enrique, Igor, Kate, Leandro, Mathias, Pamela, Sarah, and Yuri

World, All Out ,Urgent: Egypt‏

Last week, more than 3,000 of us chipped in to keep All Out fighting in 2015, including more than 1,000 "sustainers" who signed up to make a regular monthly contribution. Together, we raised more than $100,000 – with every single dollar matched by a generous donor. Thank you for your incredible contribution to this struggle for love and equality.
And All Out's already back to work. Check out the urgent campaign below and help end the oppressive crackdown happening in Egypt right now.

-------------------

Egypt’s oppressive, anti-gay regime is looking for investment from brands like Marriott and Microsoft.
We’re asking big business to speak out this Friday: sign now and push companies to help stop President Sisi’s crackdown.
SIGN
Dear Luc,
Shot dead for peacefully protesting. That’s how Egypt’s oppressive human rights crackdown ended for Shaimaa al-Sabbagh, a 32-year-old woman in Cairo. And President Sisi has had thousands more protesters killed and jailed. Hundreds of people who seem "too gay” have been arrested and tortured as part of the crackdown too.
Right now, Egypt is seeking greater investment from big global brands like Kellogg's, Microsoft and Marriott. Sisi is even hosting a big summit where he hopes to nail down deals. He can’t afford to miss out on foreign money, so the companies have influence.
3 days left. These companies rely on a good reputation: they’ll listen if we ask them to take a stand against Egypt’s oppression. Will you call for investors to urge Sisi to end his violent human rights crackdown? Sign now – the petition will be sent directly to the CEOs on Friday.go.allout.org/en/a/egypt-investors
In the last 18 months, 1,500 Egyptian protesters have been killed and tens of thousands thrown in jail. Amidst this general human rights crackdown, people thought to be lesbian, gay, bi or trans have been targeted too, with police raiding public spaces and even using online dating sites to hunt “suspects” down.
Recent reports have even revealed that torturous anal exams are being performed by government doctors to see if a man is a "chronic homosexual." The exams are based on outdated science that is 150 years old.
Sisi wants to attract billions of dollars of foreign investment to Egypt. A glitzy economic conference in Sharm El-Sheikh to woo foreign companies is key to Egypt's economic recovery plan. The conference will take place in March – so invites are being sent out now.
Microsoft committed to respecting human rights in a global statement. Kellogg's sponsored a Pride March in the US state of Atlanta. Marriott offers gay and lesbian wedding packages at its UK hotels. These companies are proud to be pro-equality – call on them to take a stand.
There's only 3 days to go. Add your name nowgo.allout.org/en/a/egypt-investors
Last March, All Out members got telecomms company Orange to pull ads from a Ugandan tabloid that was putting gay, lesbian and bi people in danger by outing them. And in 2013, we got some sponsors of the Sochi Winter Olympics to denounce Russia’s anti-gay laws. Now let’s get foreign investors to speak out and help end President Sisi’s oppressive crackdown in Egypt.
Our deadline is Friday. Sign now:go.allout.org/en/a/egypt-investors
Thanks for going All Out,
Andre, Rose, Guillaume, Anthony, Pablo, Leandro, Tile, Lucy and the All Out team
P.S. Egypt is currently inviting companies to its big economic conference. So right now, President Sisi is sensitive to what foreign investors say. Call for them to take a stand against Egypt’s oppressive crackdown – we're delivering the petition on Friday: go.allout.org/en/a/egypt-investors

World, US, ALL OUT , This Saturday‏

Dear Luc,
Amazing: already 1,000 people have joined in to power the movement – halfway to our goal of 2,000 donations! Best of all, thanks to the offer from our generous member, every single one of these donations has been doubled.
There’s only 3 days left to take advantage of this incredible opportunity and reach our goal. If you give just $10 right now, our movement will get $20 to fight for equality.
Give $10 now
No contribution is too small - every dollar added up can power this movement to win big for love and equality in 2015.
Thanks for going All Out,
Andre
PS: When we all come together for love and equality, we can win big! Just look at what we’ve done in the last year thanks to donations from generous All Out members.

January 2015: 160,000 of us got the US state of Virginia to stop a scary anti-gay law!
Our deadline is February 14.

January 2015:  50,000 of us spoke out against Google’s homophobic translations – they caved to our pressure and fixed the issue!
Just 5 days to go to get our ambitious plan approved.

Can you chip in now to keep corporations accountable in 2015?

November 2014: More than 10,000 of us pushed city officials in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to provide security for the city's Pride parade.
Just 2,000 – out of 2 million – making a donation changes everything.

September 2014: After thousands of us spoke out, the organisers of the Olympics amended the wording of the Olympic Charter to strengthen protection for lesbian, gay and bi athletes.
5 days left to superpower the fight.

July 2014: In Uganda, we secretly helped fund a beautiful Pride parade and helped launch the first ever lesbian, gay, bi and trans magazine in the country!
Deadline: February 14.

June 2014: We helped push Paraguay’s president to sign an OAS resolution to help protect lesbian, gay and bi people!
The deadline is Februay 14.

May 2014: Vicious anti-gay leader, Lou Engle, was dropped from a conference in Switzerland after 70,000 of us spoke out in protest.
Just 5 days to get 2,000 donations.

March 2014: 80,000 of us pushed Orange to pull their advertising from 'Red Pepper', an Ugandan tabloid famous for 'outing' lesbian, gay and trans people.
We've only got 5 days left.

because hundreds of thousands of us took action together.
Thank you for all that you do.

P.S. You give so much. Your stories, your time and your signatures have built All Out into
a huge global movement for love and equality. Will you make a financial contribution today

World, ALL OUT , LOVE ALWAYS WINS

Hours left: An anti-gay group called La Manif Pour Tous is trying to take over France. But see what happens when we stand up to them together:
On the same day as their massive protest in Paris, we held a huge family reunion to show that love makes a family. It made headlines around the world.
This anti-gay movement is spreading. In the last few months, offshoots of La Manif Pour Tous have popped up in the UK, US, Germany, Italy, Australia and Canada, alongside home-grown anti-gay groups.
But we can show up there too. There's just hours left to reach our goal of 6,000 donations to help stop the anti-gay hate. We just need 1,498 of us to chip in any amount right now.

Previous email:

Europe is falling to a new anti-gay movement.
7 days: Donate now to power the plan to stop the hate.
Dear ,
An anti-gay wave is sweeping across Europe: in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Slovakia, Croatia, Latvia anti-gay groups are popping up and spreading hate.
They're slowly winning: they're rallying politicians to strike down marriage equality and marching to take children away from gay parents. They're pushing anti-gay propaganda laws, just like in Russia. They've even got the support of American religious extremists.
But we've got a plan to counter these anti-gay groups. We're going to hit them on every front, isolating their networks and exposing their extreme religious backing. We can stop them from reaching even more vulnerable countries.
If 6,000 of us chip in by October 31, we can ignite this plan. We could create powerful new campaigns in all these countries to stop the anti-gay movement. Together, we can make sure love always wins.
Will you join the fight? https://www.allout.org/stop_hate
Europe was once at the front of gay rights, with marriage equality passing in country after country. But now the anti-gay movement is fighting back and going further. So here's how we can stop them in their tracks:
  1. Expose their lies: Each time they push their anti-gay agenda, we need to be there on TV, online and on the radio telling the truth and giving a voice to the families they're trying to break up.
  2. Cut them off from their international network: These groups have been working closely with American anti-gay evangelicals. We can help expose these links and show the public they're a hateful movement powered by foreign religious extremism.
  3. Get leaders fighting for love: Together, we could get politicians, religious leaders and celebrities to take a stand and fight with us against these dangerous groups. We'll leave these groups alone and friendless.
  4. Rally everyone who believes in love and equality: Millions of people don't want to destroy loving families. All Out can give them a way of working together online and in the streets. We can make this group look extreme and out of touch.
To launch this ambitious plan, we need just 6,000 of us to join together and make a small donation. All Out's small and nimble office team can make every dollar go a long way.
Please donate now to protect ALL families: https://www.allout.org/stop_hate
All Out members have been fighting anti-gay hate around the world. When Russia started implementing its anti-gay propaganda law, All Out members joined together. 1 million of us signed petitions thousands of us took to the streets in 30 cities and hundreds of us donated to fight this terrible law. We pushed leaders of countries with big economic links with Russia to speak out.
We created a media storm during the winter Olympics in Sochi. We supported our partners in Russia and organized media stunts all over the world. Last month, we even got the International Olympic Committee to make host countries abide by human rights standards, including protecting gay, lesbian, bi and trans citizens. This is what happens when we join together.
There's less than a week – please donate now to make sure love wins in Europe:https://www.allout.org/stop_hate

Thanks for going All Out,
Andre, Jeremy, Guillaume, Gaëlle, Oscar, Sara and the rest of the team at All Out.

PS. 5.7 million dollars. That's how much a dangerous anti-gay group in France raised in just a year. Now they're spreading all over the world. They're fighting marriage equality and attacking gay families. But now we have chance to fight back. If each of us makes a small donation, we can fund a huge plan to fight them on every front. World : How would you go All Out?‏

Together, All Out's people power has lead to amazing victories. And they all start with members around the world sharing stories and information.
Will you answer these 3 quick questions by Friday to help find more incredible stories?
Dear ,
The next amazing victory we win for love and equality could come from someone incredible – you!
Every day, All Out members from around the world share their stories and local news with the office team on social media, email and in letters. In fact, some of our biggest campaigns have come from members pointing out challenges at home where millions of us could help by speaking out.
There are some of us in every single country in the world. If even more of us share that information about what's going on where we live, it could mean that we can spot these opportunities even faster.
Click here to answer 3 quick questions about what you think are challenges to equality where you live  and more ways we can win together:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/july-survey-en
On Friday, the office team will go through the responses – including any specific plans. Then, we’ll run with at least one suggestion from an All Out member!
Your ideas could help make part of the world safer for all people, no matter who they are or who they love. They could lead to campaigns that:
  • Petitions your local lawmakers so they protect ALL people;
  • Gets a million people to watch an inspiring video about how all families should be equal;
  • Disrupts a ‘gay cure’ seminar with a flash-mob in the streets;
  • Pushes a company to stand up to anti-gay policies wherever they operate;
  • And more…
This is your opportunity to shape the direction our movement takes next. Will you answer these 3 short questions before Friday?
https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/july-survey-en
As a people-powered movement for love and equality, we're only powerful when we work together to combine our time, energy, and thoughts.
Can't wait to see what your ideas are!
Andre, Gaëlle, Hayley, Jeremy, Leandro, Pablo, Ricardo, Sara, Tile and the rest of the All Out team.

PS: Every day, All Out members are writing in with new ideas, raising the alarm, signing and sharing petitions, chipping in 3 dollars, pounds or euros – pitching in however we all can to build this movement for love and equality. No matter what it is, every little piece counts. All Out doesn't take money from governments or corporations so we can stay strong and independent – and we're powered by members like you. Will you chip in a small amount to keep building this amazing dream? https://www.allout.org/en/actions/e-donate
