Putin's regime is trying to get on the right side of history by replaying the

On the other hand, the war in Ukraine brings out the traumas of the Second World

nuances about military and financial support for the Ukrainian state are

The importance of the far right in Ukraine should not be trivialized. We believe
it is a mistake to analyze the strength of these groups solely on the basis of
their political representation and electoral results. The Maidan Revolution has
allowed the emergence of far-right and neo-Nazi groups such as Right Sector,
Svoboda or the Azov regiment (integrated into the National Guard of Ukraine since
September 2014) which we have discussed on this blog since 2014 . The far right
represents a real force in the streets and on the front line. Nevertheless, the
presence of neo-Nazis and neo-fascists in Ukraine is not the reason why we do not
take the side of the Ukrainian state and nationalists. This state is detestable
because first and foremost it is: corrupt, authoritarian, draconian and in the
pay of the Ukrainian oligarchs and we have nothing to gain as a class by taking
sides for the least worst of the two.

For years, anarchists and workers have been fighting by different means in
Ukraine against the state, its justice and the development of far-right
organizations in Ukraine. Today, their cities are bombed, their family, their
friends are threatened by Putin's armies. Several anarchists have therefore
decided to get involved in the field by mutual aid, aid to refugees or even by
taking up arms in the territorial defense forces for lack of anything better. The
main task of revolutionary militants is not to judge the population from the
height of their ideological and intellectual tower, but to meet people, to put
their ideas into practice in action and to establish themselves socially as a
popular force, a counter-power, proposing its own social alternatives. Unlike
speeches, action is never without contradiction, but to quote Fred Hampton:
"Words are beautiful, but action is supreme". There is no point in hiding behind
the apparent defects of a situation or a context, without taking action it is
unthinkable to change the situation and advance our ideas. Some should keep a
little embarrassment before putting the entire Ukrainian population in the camp
of supporters of Azov or other extreme right groups.

If Putin tries to replay the Great Patriotic War or the fight against fascism in
his war propaganda in order to find an ideological and historical justification
for his invasion, in fact his regime does not hesitate to mobilize the most
reactionary currents in Russia (the Orthodox Church, ultra-nationalists, Nazbols,
neo-Eurasians, etc.) to throw them into battle.

Alexander Dougin founder of the National-Bolshevik Party, the National-Bolshevik
Front and the Eurasian Party is today an ideologue of the regime. He wrote: "The

convince everyone of that. Unless the situation overflows and the slogans change
in nature, union unity holds, and there has still been no betrayal of the unions
committed to the ideology of "social dialogue". This is a first in more than
thirty years! The management of the CFDT seems really bound by its congressional
decision and the government's intransigence leaves it no way out. It's a real asset.

But to win, we must absolutely move from this vast movement of street opinion to
a struggle and a strike of confrontation with power. Medef will whistle the end
of recess and ask Macron to withdraw his project if strikes and social disorder
disrupt the economy too much. Let us not hesitate to remind the cautious that
fascism feeds on social regression and that today's efforts to win are essential
to block its way.

If this lock gives way and we gain confidence, the force of the movement will be

Larger sections of the population will thus be able to join the fight. In

Everyone has to go on March 7 and 8 and...
This is the message we need to get across, because the strikers and protesters of
the previous dates have "turned". We must, on March 7, all go out together and
involve our colleagues as much as possible in the renewable, by organizing GAs
and by multiplying the initiatives upstream (tours, diff of leaflets etc.). We
can rely on the announcements of different sectors ready to do battle and pass on
this information: call for the renewal of Solidaires from the 7th, same thing for
the inter-union RATP, as well as the CGT for transport and garbage collectors.

We must put this news forward to feed the generalization of the strike and not to
fall into the trap of the "proxy strike", it would be the sure failure.

The inter-union calls on staff to mobilize on March 8, the international day of
struggle for women's rights. This can give a point of support to renew and allow
us to consolidate the question of the feminist strike.

The watchwords
We must put forward the unifying demand for the withdrawal of the reform ("64
years is no!") more than the demands which can go further, and which we are right
to disseminate, but which cannot have any reality if we don't win on this simple
objective.

On the other hand, to generalize the strike, in particular in the private sector,
let us not hesitate to associate the defense of pensions with unsatisfied
demands, such as working conditions, wages eaten away by inflation, or even the
defense of unemployment insurance.

At the level of ideas, let us make the link whenever it is relevant between the
struggles (feminism, ecology, Darmanin law etc.), let us push without dogmatism
and without being above ground to the collective logics which break with the
capitalist ideology.

The intervention of the libertarian communists
Their role is twofold.

On the one hand, they must be fully active and active in their unions and other
associative counter-powers to convince their colleagues, organize the strike and
its renewal, be force of proposals, shake up the union purr where it exists. It
is a question of favoring the broadest self-organization, and of aggregating
beyond the convinced militant cores. In the localities where the renewable strike
does not take, it will be necessary to be creative and to suggest lasting,
repeated actions, of collective blocking of the zones of economic activity.

On the other hand, you have to be audible as a libertarian communist current.
Because if the strike spreads and lasts, more global challenges to the capitalist
model of society can quickly emerge and deepen. It's about being present to
convince that a future without the state, without employers, without domination
can be built today!
