Le 5 avril 1976, 29 prisonniers appartenant à différentes organisations ou groupements armés (ETA politico-militar, FRAP, PCE et ex-MIL) s'évadent de la prison de Ségovie. Plusieurs personnes qui se sont évadées à ce moment-là ont ensuite collaboré à la réalisation ce film-documentaire.
