almost three years the workers of the Industrial Mining Thessaloniki conduct a fair and 
militant struggle for life and dignity. Unpaid (already in 2011) employees VIO.ME. They 
took the decision to ignore the requirements of state and capital and chose the path of 
the race, moving to capture and re-opening of the plant on the basis of self-management. 
The main pillars on which constructed the project of VIO.ME. is the 
triple-self-self-self-organization. Workers exceeded limits entrenched institutional 
unionism and implemented direct democratic procedures, with decisions taken at the general 
assembly of workers process in which all members have equal status. From the first moment
the factory reopening created a nationwide network of solidarity with their struggle was 
linked with similar ventures in Europe, Argentina and Turkey.

After three years of continuous struggles and mobilizations in the occupied factory 
opposite to the continuous attempts of repression, isolation and assimilation of the 
project, the VIO.ME. It is again in danger. In the forefront of this attack is currently 
the judiciary as well start the liquidation procedures of land through auction threatening 
the existence of the occupied and self-managed factory.

The trial for the auction is set for Thursday, November 26 in the courts of Thessaloniki, 
where employees and solidarity call to abort the auction.
As an anarchist political organization we stand in solidarity on the side of the 
struggling workers of VIO.ME. We understand that fight as part of the broader social and 
class struggles that grow from below, as another mound in the total state and capitalist 
restructuring. Also in this endeavor and we recognize its importance as a self-experiment 
today in the direction of the struggle for the social revolution and the vision of a new 
self-managed society.

From our side, the side of the unemployed, the workers, the poor, the plebeians of this 
world, the history of social and class struggle shows us that the proletarians are not 
expecting anything from the institutions, parliaments, elections, bureaucratic trade union 
leaders and mediators of class struggle, who will be interacting with the bosses begging 
for their charity. Whatever you have to gain is a result of the broad, organized on the 
base, the militant and radical struggles. Only the total subversion of the state and 
capitalism, social expropriation of wealth that we ourselves produce and sucks a caste of 
rulers, the organization from the bottom of the social and class counter-attack, the 
revolution for a new society common ownership, solidarity, freedom can vindicate the 
desires and actual social needs of the oppressed and exploited throughout the world.

On Friday 23/1, Greek Police arrested Turkish political refugee Baris Bal, (while he was 
visiting Evosmou police station for passport) after the activation of Interpol arrest 
order issued by Turkey. ---- The story begins in 1995, when the Turkish Government issued 
a warrant of arrest while he was 16 years old. As a student he was accused of involvement 
in the radical liberation movement of Turkey's youth. Baris was active in the high school 
along with other classmates, against a law allowing the government to make virginity test 
in the high schools! He got arrested and tortured by the police. At that time UN agency 
for human rights also dealed with his case. He fled from the coast of Bodrum, swam to Kos 
and from there moved to Lavrio. Soon after, he moved to Thessaloniki where he continued 
his political activities by participating in the local social struggles. Alongside he 
followed the path of music in which he wholeheartedly devoted himself, he is also teaching 
at TEI Arta.

Activation of the warrant of conviction in absentia is part of a policy of repression 
unleashed by the Turkish state against political opponents. In recent years, we observed 
an increasing intensity of the persecution of Turkish political refugees. They were 
dragged to the Greek courts and prisons in order to evaluate or to activate the warrants 
issued by Turkey related with their political activities. - These were all done depending 
on their political activities which has placed high priority on the agenda of bilateral 
relations between Greek and Turkish states.

Baris Bal, recognized as a political refugee since 1995, is threatened with extradition to 
Turkey and on Tuesday 27/1 he'll be in front of the Judicial Council in Thessaloniki Courts.

Declaration from the meeting of anticapitalist & antiauthoritarian groups and unions in
Thessaloniki. ---- We, antiauthoritarian and anticapitalist groups and grassroots unions,
that took part in the mobilization to the European action day against capitalism (M31),
gathered in Thessaloniki at the congress for direct democracy on the 6th of September 2012
to discuss the possibilities of our cooperation and common actions in the future. We ?
that means comrades from A.K. (Antiauthoritarian Movement, Greece), the CNT (Spain),
?UmsGanze, FAU, Interventionary Left (BRD) and activists from England, Austria and
Bulgaria. We all agree that in this time of capitalist crisis, the rise of nationalism and
ongoing austerity measures it is necessary to organize beyond national borders and against
state and capital.

The capitalist system today cannot offer any positive perspective anymore, but leads to an
increase of social division and authoritarian constraints in the name competitive
capability and national interest. Therefor we cannot rely on reformist institutions ? like
parties and reformist unions. If we are interested in a good life for everybody, we have
to (self) organize and take our lives in our hands. As State and Capital in Europe are
organized on a supranational level, an emancipatory resistance should do so as well. Our
common mobilization to the European action day M31 was a first step in this direction.

Nevertheless, we see that the different realities in Europe also lead to the necessity of
different strategies. Therefor we discussed how we can build up a communication
infrastructure that allows us to intensify the exchange of experiences so that we can
learn from each other. Another important point was the question, how we can support each
other in the different social struggles. Although the social conditions and the state of
the crisis in different countries are different it is clear to us, that there are enough
possibilities for mutual assistance. Last but not least we all agree that we will meet
again before the end of this year, maybe in Spain. The promise that there is an exit
strategy to the authoritarian state of emergency as well as from capitalist normality is
something that we ourselves have to make true. Therefor we invite everybody to fight with us.

9 comrades released with accusations and 1 probably will be deported from Greece... please
send us translations in your languages or links with actions of solidarity. ---- We all
live in an economic politic system, tightly closed and illiberal, which defends with every
way the interests of the bosses, every kind, of overhead. --- On the other side of the
scale, there are the oppressed, all who face daily the problem of survival. The biggest
part of the society, a few hundred million, are on the limits of poverty, receives daily
attack from the small class of the bosses, with their protectors of their wealth, their
command applicators, the state and the authority.

Especially the last years, with the new economic crisis invented by the bosses, which is
nothing but an obvious restructuring and re-accumulation of wealth for their benefit, and
an attempt of total control of every aspect of society, more and more people find
themselves in a desperate situation and they decide to take their lives in their hands.

So they decide to create unmediated social structures, away from the coercive logic of
capitalism and the relationships which defined by money.

As people who belong in anarchist and antiauthoritarian movement, we are against in every
form of ownership and trade, economic relations. We support places and groups who act in
self-organization, solidarity, antiierarchia and anticommercial. Such ventures are
occupations, locals and social centers.

Delta squat is one of them, one open, social and political space with antiauthoritarian
characteristics. Inside the squat operating openly , self-managed workshops (photography,
stained glass, silk screening), groups of self-education, library, open gym, translation
team, self-organized prinding, free dance lessons and playground for children, open
political meetings and discussions, video projections, social meals and self-organized,
anticommercial concerts. These events gather money, available for support radical
struggles and other needs of the movement.

Delta squat, like many other political places, are part of a wide antiauthoritarian -
anarchist movement, which operates competitive and hostile against the sociopolitical
system and the fight for individual and social liberation and for this reason receives the
non stop attack of state and power. Especially the last years we are witness of an orgy of
repression against groups and places, not only in Greece but in the entire world.

The abandoned buildings, which belongs to the state or privately owned, in this period
that society becomes poor, stand defiantly, when all around us there are so many people
who lack the basic need of housing. We, as anarchists, we stand in solidarity with the
efforts of people to squat places and their development in areas of life.

As our presence disturbs them, their goal is our extinction. From our side we will deny
the accusations of the authorities and laugh with the machinations created against us.

A typical example is that the cops tried to charge us our permanent residence to Delta
squat while we were declared permanent addresses of our homes.

Finally, while we consider not important to speak about the matter of body control,
despite the denial and violent ablation of fingerprints, we would not ask from any
authority to care about this issue. We just want to show that this is their democracy and
they will ??find us against them forever.
