The military occupation of favelas Tide set by state and federal government, and shameful

and the countryside, in the suburbs and the poor people in the slums is raped for decades 
by the government that deprives rights such as health, education, decent housing, 
sanitation, recreation, transportation, among others. Therefore, the response of the state 
is a policy of repression and social control, as this militarization of the favelas and 
the criminalization of the poor and social movements. A steamroller advances, driven by 
governments and capitalism as having motor.

Military occupation of the whole slum Tide, just behind the army tanks advancing on the 
streets of the slum following the army of telephone companies, cable TV and services. In a 
macabre media spectacle, private communication vehicles continue doing its part to lie 
about the facts and present all this violence against the inhabitants of the state as 
something natural and justifiable. And what matters to the government is not the welfare

generate a fat profit for the contractors and all the companies that sponsor these events

We reject this violation of human rights against (the) set of slum dwellers Tide, the 
criminalization of (the) poor, social movements and all (those) who express indignation 
against this policy of death. Abuses such collective mandates and laws that allow spying 
and repression of social movements, are examples that governments only see the people as a 
potential criminal.
