Founded on 1st May 2013 remembering the historic day of struggle and resistance rights achieved by workers ( the ) around the world, Libertarian Library Maxwell Ferreira ( BLMF ) is the result of the need to organizar-se/reorganizar-se, a space to house the collection consists of books which previously belonged to the former Center for Libertarian Culture ( CCL ), which then worked in the Street Arts self-managed and used space well in the city of Bel?m do Par? in the center 1990s and early 2000s. De modest but undoubtedly with acquis materials of the highest quality, library has copies of books, magazines and newspapers rare today. ---- Maxwell Ferreira was born on 06 December 1970 and was militant Libertarian Youth and the core pro- COB ( Brazilian Workers' Confederation ). Worked as a night watchman and also served on the Community Center Bullfinch, Bethlehem neighborhood where he lived his lifetime. His life was interrupted violently in the course of their work, at 24 years old, becoming a victim the poor working conditions which its category is subject. Max, such as / to companions / as they called it, also worked in the counterculture. Was the bassist Offenders hardcore band, which has long road in the Brazilian underground. Although we have initiated their BLMF library with books from the old CCL, the same has been augmented by contributions from several (as) friends ( the ) sharing ideals in common and who believe in importance of this space. Added to this, still rely on donations of books, magazines, newspapers, journals, fanzines and other informational materials about anarchism in Brazil and worldwide. The collection the BLMF not limited only to the Content strictly anarchist. there also other materials die -political radical social. The BLMF has as major objective the dissemination and propaganda of the ideal anarchist. It is a space for reading, debates, political training, meetings, exhibitions, experiences, and meetings research on the anarchist philosophy. The BLMF supports the formation of groups study of libertarian education, serving sometimes the basis for research about the anarcho-punk movement of Bethlehem well as on the history of anarchism in the city.
