The bookfair brings together a couple of dozen organisations, book distributors and campaign groups in the main area while meetings run in the venues alongside this. This year it will kick off on Friday night with Eyewitnesses accounts of the Rojava Revolution with Janet Biehl & others in the Teachers Club, 35 Parnell Square.
The main event on the Saturday around Smithfield square will have a range of meetings including
and sessions on 1916, Trade Unions, Environmental struggles, Basic Income, Feminism.
All these events are free, there will also be a post bookfair party / fundraiser that evening in the Cobblestone.
