Yesterday, Thursday 16 September, the 3rd day of the 2nd Liberation Festival of
Occupied Spaces and Collectivities took place, where it took place at the
Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

The third day of the festival began with the event "Zapatistas, women with
insurgent dignity" with the participation of anarchist women from the Group
Against the Patriarchate of the Anarchist Political Organization | OS. This event
was first held at the 3rd freedom festival of A.P.O. in Athens, in July and
refers to the women of Zapatista, while it includes their testimonies at the
beginning of the revolution in 1994, how they experienced it themselves on a
personal and political level.

This was followed by the event "the struggle against gender-based violence,
discrimination and patriarchy from an anarchist point of view", which was
attended by anarchist women participating in the collective for social anarchism
"Black and Red". On the occasion of the recent murders that have taken place in
recent months but also due to the ongoing struggle against patriarchy and the
system that gives birth to it, some basic elements regarding patriarchy,
gender-based violence were touched upon and some perceptions far removed in
relation to the anarchist point of view on these issues.

The festival continued with the musical book presentation of the poetry
collection "Narki" by Nena Douros and with rebetika bands.
