destruction. Massive fires, dragging drought, storms as sudden as they areviolent, capitalism is reaching a tipping point. ---- In a certain sense, itsactivities are temporarily threatened: the intensive exploitation of agriculturalland, energy resources, the oceans is under the pressure of this acceleratedclimate change. For the rest of humanity it is the question of survival thatarises. ---- But capitalism will not change and its flatterers will go to the endof their logic. Faced with disasters and climatic exiles, they will build higherfortresses. Locked in their air-conditioned paradises, they will protectthemselves with their technologies and their mercenaries. This extremism can onlylead to war and this is the future that is promised to us by capitalism. War foraccess to mining, aquatic and food resources.The alternative between socialism (the real one) or barbarism (for its part,unfortunately never distorted) now concerns humanity in an immediacy and a commonscale without historical precedent.
